Emily in Paris star doesn’t think show boss knows where series will end

As a seasoned gamer of life, I’ve seen my fair share of romantic rollercoasters, from Lelouch and Nunnally in Code Geass to Ross and Rachel in Friends. And now, Emily in Paris has thrown another pair into the mix – Emily and Gabriel. The latest season 4 spoilers have left me on tenterhooks, with Lucas Bravo himself admitting that even the creator Darren Star doesn’t know where their relationship is headed!

Emily in Paris season 4 spoilers follow.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’d put it like this: “In the world of ‘Emily in Paris’, I, Lucas Bravo, am not entirely sure if our creator, Darren Star, has all the cards laid out when it comes to my character Gabriel and Emily’s future.

In the streaming service Netflix, the second half of the fourth season was released this week, introducing a new complication for the intermittent pairing: the enigmatic figure of Marcello, who appears to be a shepherd but stirs tension as he does so.

In chats before the second part of the series was unveiled, Bravo shared insights with Digital Spy about whether Gabriel and Emily could be a long-term couple, following their intense relationship in the initial episodes of the ten-episode season.

In a unique conversation, he mentioned that only when we reach the final scene of the final episode during the entire series will we have the answer. Everything else is simply what transpires in between.

As a dedicated admirer, let me express that while I eagerly anticipate the unfolding of this captivating tale, I must admit, I can’t predict its ending. Frankly, I’m unsure if even the mastermind himself, Darren [Star], has a crystal-clear vision of where this story is heading.

He added: “I surely hope for Gabriel, rooting for my character, that he will get a happy, happy, romantic ending. He deserves to be loved.”

Additionally, Bravo hinted at the potential effects that newcomer Genevieve from Agence Grateau might have on the dynamic between Emily and Gabriel, as she has shown interest in the chef.

In his words, “Losing Camille brings us unintentional control, but with Genevieve, we gain intentional influence.

It seems there will be more turbulence ahead, as Gabriel tends to be trusting and overlooks certain types of individuals. Consequently, things could become disorderly once more.

If Netflix decides to produce a fifth season for the show, it seems likely that we’ll get to continue Emily’s story, given the dramatic ending in season four. As of now, Netflix hasn’t made an official decision.

Emily in Paris seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix.
