Emily In Paris season four part two trailer: Lily Collins meets new flame in Rome amid Gabriel entanglement
As a dedicated follower who has been captivated by the whirlwind of Emily In Paris since its inception, I can’t help but feel a mixture of excitement and anticipation as the next chapter unfolds in Rome. Having lived through the highs and lows of Emily’s love life, career, and cultural misadventures, I find myself eagerly waiting to see how this season will continue to weave its enchanting web around me.
The next chapter of Emily In Paris promises even more drama – but in a brand new setting.
In the teaser for the second half of season four, we find Emily (played by Lily Collins) residing in Rome, accompanied by a fresh love interest.
But that doesn’t mean the drama with her on-off lover Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) has come to an end.
The trailer begins with Emily in Gabriel’s arms during a romantic mountain getaway -before his girlfriend Camille (Camille Razat) enters the picture.
Emily implores Gabriel, “You’ll always pick her, won’t you?” With Camille standing just a few steps distant.
‘She’s having my baby!’ he replies.
Emily emphasizes, “Yes, I have an idea! However, I can’t be the one who distracts you from your family,” Emily asserts firmly as the camera focuses on Camille. It turns out that Camille hasn’t informed Gabriel yet that her pregnancy test result was a false positive.
It’s worth noting that Gabriel can later be found socializing with a fresh acquaintance – Emily’s newly hired American colleague, Genevieve.
While Emily and her companion, Mindy Chen (Ashley Park), casually walk past Gabriel’s restaurant, they notice that he is engaged in a conversation with Genevieve well into the evening within the restaurant.
‘Are we sure we like her?’ Mindy asks following the perplexing sighting.
As I find myself jetting off to the eternal city of Rome, my heart races with anticipation. My mission: to charm a potential new business ally, none other than the dashingly charming Marcello, played by Eugenio Franceschini in this grand tale. Let’s see if my charisma and business acumen are up to the task!
Emily’s coworker mentions that JVMA seems very eager to obtain them, to Sylvie.
‘I’d love to get a meeting with Marcello,’ Sylvie informs Emily.
‘I’m not going to Rome!’ Emily protests.
Sylvie says, “You’ve done this before, blending business and leisure, and it turns out you’re quite skilled at it.”
Ultimately, Emily ends up visiting Rome and touring it with Marcello.
The trip offers the marketing executive a respite from her busy life in the city.
‘I really needed this,’ Emily says.
‘What did you need?’ Marcello asks.
‘A break from work, Paris, everything,’ she replies wistfully.
During her trip, Emily enjoys the finer things in life from good food to good company.
As she hits the club with Marcello, they share a steamy dance.
‘Which city do you prefer? Paris or Rome?’ Marcello asks her.
Later, Emily is seen opening the grand windows of her luxurious Roman lodgings, marveling at the breathtaking vistas with a wide, delighted grin.
Part two of Emily In Paris will debut on Netflix on September 12.
