Emily in Paris has confirmed a release date and a new location for season 5.
In a new twist, Lily Collins reprises her role as Emily Cooper, who has ascended to lead Agency Grateau in Rome. Instead of being released episodically, season four will debut on Netflix simultaneously, offering viewers the chance to stream all ten episodes starting from December 18.
The upcoming series will feature Emily exploring more enchanting European destinations, with Venice playing a significant role in chapter 5 and serving as a prominent setting.
What to Read Next
For Emily, it seems that navigating through her career and personal life will not be an easy journey, as she encounters numerous professional and romantic hurdles.
In much the same manner as all pieces of a puzzle slot perfectly together, an ingenious plan for work unexpectedly fails, causing a series of unfortunate events that lead to personal sorrow and professional obstacles – this is the essence of season 5’s storyline.

Emily strives for tranquility by immersing herself in the French way of life, but a shocking secret puts at risk one of her strongest bonds. By facing adversity openly, Emily builds stronger relationships, gains fresh insight, and becomes eager for fresh opportunities.
In the upcoming season, we’ll have all our principal actors back from earlier episodes. Collins will be joined by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu reprising her role as Sylvie, Ashley Park returning as Mindy, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Bruno, and Lucien Laviscount making a comeback as Alfie.

In the upcoming season 5 of Emily in Paris, Eugenio Franceschini reprises his role as Emily’s Italian love interest Marcello, joined by William Abadie, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, and Arnaud Binard. Notably, new cast members Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg, and Michèle Laroque will also join the series.
Previously verified: Camille Razat no longer plays the character Camille, as her storyline reached an unpredictable end in season 4.
Razat expressed on Instagram that this character has been significant in her life and she believes the narrative arc for her role has reached a fitting conclusion. She expressed that it seemed appropriate to embark on fresh experiences at this juncture.
Emily in Paris season 5 streams on Netflix from 18 December.
