Emily Blunt spent a relaxing Sunday on Lake Como with her husband, John Krasinski, and their daughters.
The 42-year-old actress is currently filming in Italy for *The Devil Wears Prada 2*, but she recently took some time off to be with her family.
The family – a couple with their daughters, Hazel, age 11, and Violet, age 8 – had fun kayaking on the lake.
Emily enjoyed the view as she kayaked with her youngest child, and John, a 45-year-old filmmaker, shared a kayak with Hazel.
Emily was seen filming in Milan, a major center for fashion, while working on the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada.
Filming for the long-awaited sequel has started up again in the city, and the entire cast was together on set for the first time this month.

Oh my gosh, she’s *back* as Emily Charlton! My absolute favorite, the queen of sass! And Anne Hathaway is returning as Andy too! I can’t even handle how amazing this is – it’s like a dream come true to see them together again!
Recently, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci were seen in the front row at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show.
Over the weekend Lady Gaga touched down at Milan airport and was later seen on set.
It’s still unclear what part Lady Gaga will have in the new movie. Her team has been contacted by the Daily Mail for more information.
The new movie is scheduled to come out in May 2026, marking the 20th anniversary of the first film’s huge impact on popular culture.
Although the exact story is still under wraps, the film is expected to center on Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) and the challenges facing the print magazine industry.
Sources say she’ll likely need help from her old assistant, Emily—who now holds a high-ranking position at a high-end fashion company—to land important advertising contracts.
There were rumors that Emily’s character in the first movie was based on Victoria ‘Plum’ Sykes, a former writer for Vogue, but Sykes has strongly denied the connection.

Many believe the character of Miranda Priestly was based on Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of American Vogue, who recently announced her retirement in June after leading the magazine for 37 years.
The movie *The Devil Wears Prada* wasn’t just a huge success; it became a defining moment in pop culture. Meryl Streep’s portrayal of Miranda Priestly quickly became legendary, and the film sparked a lasting fascination with fashion, even inspiring its own catchphrase: ‘That’s all.’
The film received two Academy Award nominations, and Meryl Streep was nominated for Best Actress. She also won a Golden Globe for her performance in a musical or comedy film.
The show received five BAFTA nominations and three Golden Globe nominations, and is now considered one of the most important comedies of the 2000s.
David Frankel will direct the sequel, and Aline Brosh McKenna is returning to write the script, just as they did with the first movie.
The Devil Wears Prada is based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger and was published in 2003.
I was absolutely thrilled when “The Devil Wears Prada” was adapted into a musical! Seeing Vanessa Williams take on the iconic role of Miranda Priestly was incredible, and the music by Elton John just elevated the whole experience. It’s a dream come true for any fan!
