As a lifestyle expert, I must say that Emily Blackwell’s journey as a new mother is truly inspiring. Her resilience and gratitude in the face of such a challenging situation are commendable. Having been through similar experiences myself, I can empathize with the rollercoaster of emotions she must have felt during those 53 days in the Intensive Care Unit.

Emily Blackwell recently shared that she and her partner, Jordan Oldershaw, have become parents to a precious little girl about two months back. The baby was born prematurely.

28-year-old star of Made In Chelsea shared an emotional message on Instagram, disclosing that their little one had been released from intense care following a challenging 53-day stay.

Eva June Oldershaw arrived 10 weeks ahead of schedule on November 3rd, necessitating several difficult weeks in an incubator. This challenging period was referred to by Emily as one of the toughest times in her and Jordan’s lives.

The celebrity known for reality TV posted a compilation showing the baby’s stay at the hospital, until she recovered sufficiently to return home.

Emily shared a heartfelt message saying, “The world meets Eva June Oldershaw, born on November 3rd, 2024. After spending 53 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), our precious miracle has returned home at last. Eva came into the world over ten weeks before her due date.

To say the last few months have been the hardest times of our lives, would be an understatement.’

“She went on to express: ‘For two months we couldn’t take our newborn home, feeling completely helpless, spending long hours gazing at monitors, hearing the constant beeping and alarms, never knowing what each day might hold.’

Gazing at Eva within the confines of an incubator, surrounded by a jumble of wires, and feeling utterly powerless, I pleaded with the nurses to let us cradle our newborn. This wasn’t how I envisioned it…But Eva proved herself to be resilient, and I am so profoundly thankful she’s now thriving at home with us.

Emily added, “I can’t express my gratitude enough, especially towards the Chelsea Westminster Hospital. The midwives, physicians, and caregivers there are truly heaven-sent individuals whom we will always owe a debt of gratitude.

Although things didn’t go as expected, I’m incredibly thankful for the adventure we’ve shared. These additional ten weeks with our precious daughter have been a blessing, witnessing her overcome numerous challenges. She truly embodies strength and resilience.

It’s now the perfect moment for us to adapt, cherish, and truly savor each instant in this delightful sphere we call our little family of three.

Before adding: ‘Jordan, you have been mine and Eva’s rock through all of this. There’s no way could we have done this without you. Juggling all this whilst running a business is no joke and everyday I’m so proud of you. (A bit soppy, I know) butttt watching the way you have been with our daughter has made me love you even more’.
