Emily Atack strips off for an outdoor hot tub as she enjoys a festive countryside spa getaway with her son Barney, 18 months

Emily Atack is enjoying a relaxing break with her son, Barney, at The Tawny Hotel in Stoke-on-Trent.

The 36-year-old actress shared a photo on Instagram of herself relaxing topless in an outdoor bubble bath at her luxurious cabin, which costs £295 per night.

Relaxing on her balcony with a beautiful view, she announced on social media that she’d be staying for a few weeks and thanked The Tawny Hotel for a wonderful post-Christmas detox experience.

Emily recently shared a cute photo of her 18-month-old son on her social media story. He was wearing an adorable green and blue checkered fleece jacket.

He finished his outfit with brown pants and boots, adding a fashionable corduroy hat worn backwards and a knotted yellow scarf.

This hotel offers cozy cabins nestled in the woods, featuring skylights perfect for stargazing, comfortable sofas next to a wood-burning stove, and a unique outdoor tin bathtub.

The resort also features unique treehouse rooms overlooking the lake, each with a large outdoor tub perfect for families.

Emily and her boyfriend, Alistair Garner, became parents to their son, Barney, in June 2024.

The actress posted photos in June celebrating her son Barney‘s first birthday, featuring pictures from his birth and recent family moments.

She celebrated her son Barney James Garner’s first birthday on Instagram, affectionately calling him ‘The Baby Barn Owl’.

I feel like I’ve known you forever, and you’re everything I’ve ever wanted. I love you so much, my wonderful son.

‘You are so cherished my heart could burst.’

The actress, known for her role in The Inbetweeners, shared a picture on her Instagram Stories of her dog, Barney, relaxing on Alistair’s chest.

She captioned the post with: ‘One whole year of our baby Barnicle.

Those first few blurry, confusing days still feel like they just happened.

Emily first announced her pregnancy, via an Instagram post, in December 2024.

She wrote: ‘I’ve never been so happy and utterly terrified at the same time.

Each day is a rollercoaster of emotions – excitement, worry, happiness, and sometimes overwhelming stress, often accompanied by feeling sick, similar to the shaky, nauseous feeling after riding a big rollercoaster like Oblivion with a hangover.

Honestly, going through this has completely changed how I see my body. I’ve learned so much about what it’s capable of, and I’m incredibly grateful for it. I’m really focusing on taking care of myself and creating the best possible environment for my baby to grow.

It feels like the baby is relaxing comfortably inside, surrounded by peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and already asking for more treats!

Hey everyone, it feels great to be sharing this with you! You’ve been such amazing supporters over the years, and I’m so excited for this next chapter. I’m officially embracing what I’m calling my ‘mum era’ – a time for nurturing, prioritizing, and a whole lot of self-care – and I’d love for you to join me on the journey!
