Ember Juno skin will contribute to the OWCS Champions Clash prize pool

Check out everything we know about the Ember Juno skin coming soon to Overwatch 2.

Following its debut in August 2024, Juno swiftly garnered a significant following. To date, she has acquired nine distinct appearances since her initial launch, with the latest addition coming from a partnership between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM. This particular skin is available for purchase until March 31st. Now, it’s been announced that Juno will receive another skin called Ember. Here are some details about this upcoming addition.

In Overwatch 2, Ember Juno can be obtained through a special crowdfunding package. A share of the earnings from this package will go towards increasing the prize pool for the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 Champions Clash, which is scheduled to take place between March 18 and April 20 in Hangzhou, China.

In an unprecedented style, Juno’s new appearance showcases a vibrant purple attire adorned with golden accents and fiery orange hair. Although the exact launch date is yet to be announced, it seems we might be seeing this update in the game quite soon.

Last year at the Overwatch Champions Series World Finals, Overwatch offered a crowd-funding pack with characters Mei, Junkrat, and Tracer. The price for this pack varied between 1600 to 2200 Overwatch Coins, while the Mega Bundle needed 3000 Overwatch Coins. It’s possible that we may see similar prices for the upcoming bundle. Additionally, in 2024, 25% of the revenue generated from this pack was allocated to the prize pool, and it’s likely that a comparable percentage will be used this time around as well.

Another Kiriko skin?

On the Overwatch Cavalry X page, numerous fans have gathered to discuss the abundance of skins that Juno has received recently, with some drawing comparisons to Kiriko, another character. Notably, Kiriko currently has 30 skins. One player commented, “It seems like Juno is taking over as the hero who gets all the skins.” Fans of heroes such as Ramattra and Venture used this occasion to remind Blizzard about their lack of skin releases.

Apart from several other gamers, even the renowned Overwatch streamer, Aspen, supported Juno. In a passionate statement, Aspen expressed, “our stunning Juno deserves billions of skins; this is incredible!
