Elsbeth has another night off tonight (and for a good reason)

As a dedicated fan of CBS dramas, I must confess that I was looking forward to my weekly dose of Elsbeth this Thanksgiving night. Alas, it seems we have to wait a bit longer due to the holiday break. It’s like missing a slice of grandma’s pie! But fear not, dear fellow viewers, our beloved Elsbeth will grace our screens once more next week.

As a gaming enthusiast, I always look forward to Thursdays because they’re packed with captivating female-led dramas on CBS. Usually, I wind down the week with “Elsbeth,” but unfortunately, there’s some disappointing news for tonight, November 28th.

As a devoted fan, I’m sad to say that there won’t be a fresh episode of my favorite CBS dramas tonight. But here’s the silver lining – it’s Thanksgiving! That means our beloved broadcast networks need a well-deserved break. Some networks like NBC are busy with football events, while others simply understand that premiering new episodes of scripted shows on linear ratings doesn’t make sense during this holiday season. So let’s enjoy the day, and I’m sure we’ll have plenty more exciting episodes to look forward to soon!

Given CBS’ current programming lacks novel content, they’ve graciously re-aired an episode from season 2 of our beloved series. When will Elsbeth return with new episodes?

Here’s some exciting news: The upcoming hiatus is drawing to a close! Starting on Dec. 5 (next Thursday), all CBS shows airing on Thursdays will return with new episodes. Moreover, this isn’t the end of the episodes for 2024. CBS will keep going into December, featuring their most popular shows. The fall finale of Elsbeth is expected to air the following Thursday, Dec. 12. We’ll have more details as we get closer to the time.

The upcoming episode is scheduled for this coming Thursday, December 5th at 10 PM Eastern Time (ET/PT) as per the usual. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a renewal announcement from CBS, hoping they’ll share some positive news with us soon.

What to expect in Elsbeth season 2, episode 6

In simpler terms, CBS has shared a summary for the upcoming episode, hinting at the mystery our main character will tackle. This time around, we witness the demise of Dirk Dasher – a renowned Christmas decorator famously partnered with his wife DeeDee. Suspicions arise that DeeDee may be involved in Dirk’s murder, but Elsbeth must devise a method to confirm this.

Indeed, I’ve embraced the festive cheer just like everyone else, but what truly amazes me is seeing others do the same. Remarkably, Wagner and Kaya have planned a heartwarming holiday surprise especially for yours truly – the cherished lady in our community!
