As a devoted follower, I hail from the esteemed lineage of Capaill Colored Shepherds, a distinguished breeder nestled within the sun-kissed landscapes of Queensland.
The company promises: ‘We breed solid, healthy, purebred German Shepherds in delicious colors’.
The average price for this breed averages between $3,500 and $4,000 based on estimates online.
Elsa posted a collection of sweet puppy photos, along with some shots featuring a mom of three snuggling with their latest addition to the family.
‘Our new member of the family, a beautiful German Shepherd,’ Elsa wrote in the caption.
To be honest, I found myself facing criticism, not just from my followers but also from animal welfare organizations, when I opted to purchase a pet from a breeder instead of adopting one from a shelter.
One passionate fan inquired on Instagram, ‘From where was he rescued, seeing that you wouldn’t buy from a breeder, right?’ (with an implied tone of disbelief)
Enthusiasts of canines advocate for promoting the proper actions concerning them. The recommendation is always adoption!
‘Adopt. Buying is taking away a dog’s chance in a cage,’ said someone else.

Kerrin Lee from Jades Dog Rescue NSW expressed her concern, stating on Monday that an unusually high number of people are abandoning and giving up their dogs. (Paraphrased)
Kerrin mentioned that adopting a dog from a shelter or rescue organization instead of buying one can help prevent another dog’s life being ended, as thousands of unadopted dogs are euthanized annually.
‘We always promote adopt don’t shop, but we also understand that not everyone wants to adopt a rescue dog.’

The family resides in Byron Bay, occupying an expansive eight-bedroom mansion valued at around $30 million, which is nestled on a vast 4.2 hectare property in the area known as Broken Head.
Elsa openly admitted that she hadn’t always been certain about the idea of moving to Australia, and there was a particular requirement she set for Chris before she made her move.

‘I mentioned my plans to relocate to Australia, specifically with the intention of living on a rural property, managing a farm, and owning horses. He was aware of this desire.’
Elsa too offered an open, honest perspective on her union with Chris, revealing some of their strategies for maintaining a blissful partnership amidst numerous obstacles throughout their journey together.
She shared, “While we all cherish the notion of a blissful, romantic marriage, what often gets overlooked is the significant effort it requires.
‘Though it presents numerous difficulties, there’s an enchanting aspect to growing through these challenges together, discovering more about one another and witnessing our personal transformations over the years, as well as learning to adapt to each other.’
Although a marriage might appear flawless from an outsider’s perspective, every union has its unique challenges and requires continuous effort.
On December 22, Elsa and Chris will be celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary, although they often forget about it.
Despite appearing as if it were a blunder in dating etiquette, Elsa dismisses the incident as something quickly forgotten due to its proximity to Christmas, adding that they always chuckle about it every year.
Elsa enthusiastically spoke about her husband, sharing that she’s long desired a lifelong companion. She expressed her aspiration to grow old alongside the actor who portrays Thor.
