Ellie Goulding hints at her upcoming album, where she pens some of the most poignant lyrics yet, as she navigates her post-breakup life with a fresh relationship.
Last year in February, the 38-year-old singer parted ways with her art dealer spouse, Caspar Jopling, who is 33 years old. Now, they share parental responsibilities for their five-year-old son, Arthur.
On a Thursday post to her Instagram, Ellie suggested that her current romantic troubles could be reflected in the music she’s been diligently crafting for quite some time.
In her recent post, the artist known as The Burn celebrated the fifth anniversary of her album “Brightest Blue”, hinting that her upcoming project will likely become fans’ new favorite.
Providing a small sneak peek, she penned down: “If you enjoyed this record, I suspect that the upcoming one could become your new favorite… I’ve been laboring over it for quite some time.
Instruments such as guitars, bass, strings, harmonies that seem endless, some of the saddest lyrics I’ve ever penned, collaborating with exceptional writers and musicians worldwide (I feel incredibly fortunate) and striving to sound unique – it will undoubtedly be intriguing. However, there might be a pop influence here and there because I just can’t resist!
Her admirers swiftly reacted to the post, with numerous individuals expressing their shared enthusiasm for her initial album since 2023’s Higher Than Heaven, by commenting on it.
Over the weekend, I followed the buzz after Ellie apparently made her relationship with her newest beau official at a boxing event.
It has been reported by The Sun that the current number one is in a relationship with actor Beau Minniear, who is 28 years old. On Saturday evening, they were both spotted at the boxing match between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois at Wembley.
Previously, there was speculation about a possible romantic connection between them following a mysterious TikTok video she shared on her social media platforms, which seemed to hint at it last week.
As a devoted fan, I’m sharing that according to the source, she posted a video of herself gently touching a man’s arm, accompanied by the caption, “A small thing to ease the tension.” Regrettably, this video seems to have been removed from her TikTok profile.
It appears that her fans have pointed out a similarity: The watch the man wore in the video is often seen on Beau in his Instagram photos.
It’s also said that they both shared pictures from the same hotel in Florence a week ago, prior to their joint appearance at the boxing match.
According to a source, Ellie has feelings for Beau as they both enjoy similar hobbies such as physical activities and artistic pursuits.

This year, it’s believed that Ellie had an encounter with Beau, who boasts a series of minor roles in American television and movies, as per the latest reports from The Sun.
Late last year she then split from her boyfriend Armando Perez who she moved on with after Caspar.
