In her debut mission with the NCIS: Elite team, Knight is tasked with tracking down and capturing Eleanor Bishop, who is now wanted as a cyber-terrorist. Bishop, needing someone she can rely on, reaches out to Torres, leading to their first encounter in almost five years after her sudden departure from the team.
As a big NCIS fan, I was really excited to hear that Sean Murray (Tim McGee) and Wilmer Valderrama are both pumped about Ziva David returning in season 23. They’ve both talked about how great it is to revisit a storyline that felt so unfinished, especially considering how Ziva’s exit was handled – it was a pretty controversial plot point, and fans have been debating it ever since. Honestly, I didn’t think the show would ever address it again, but it looks like they’re finally going to give that story the closure it deserves.
I was thrilled to revisit the world of my show and reconnect with the characters I adore. It was especially interesting to return as Bishop, having experienced a lot of personal growth and change. The episode explores how familiar relationships can evolve, and it was a really enjoyable experience. I think of it as a heartfelt tribute to the show, and I’m eager for viewers to see it!
Working with Emily on set is always a fantastic partnership, making it simple to develop realistic and engaging storylines for our characters. I’m really happy we’re getting the chance to recapture that chemistry. Honestly, as a long-time NCIS viewer, what really has me hooked is seeing how Torres reacts to Bishop being back after all this time. Their history is fascinating! And, let’s be real, the whole Torres-Knight thing adds a nice layer of drama. It’s complicated, but good TV! Plus, even though it’s just confirmed for one episode, seeing Wickersham back with the team feels like a little spark of hope for more appearances down the line. It definitely re-establishes that connection, and I’m crossing my fingers for it!
