Elle and Dakota Fanning Dazzle at Chanel’s Pre-Oscars Dinner: A Glamorous Sisterly Affair!

At the 16th Annual Pre-Oscar Awards Dinner held over the weekend, sisters Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning graced the event with their refined fashion sensibilities as they appeared together.

The fashionable sisters, both of them, stepped out in style, with Elle, aged 26, sporting a navy dress adorned with sequins and a mini length, and Dakota, 31, wearing a soft baby blue satin outfit.

The elegant siblings graced their entry hand-in-hand, with Elle, 26, flaunting a sparkling navy minidress, and Dakota, 31, sporting a delicate baby blue satin attire.

At a glamorous event hosted at The Beverly Hills Hotel in LA, they gracefully displayed their stylish appearance side by side.

She donned an A-line dress featuring a high neck and a golden hem contrast, topped off with a see-through cape of the same hue, adorned with a velvet ribbon bow at its center.

She matched her glittery attire with a clutch bag featuring quilted texture and golden accessories, along with see-through black stockings and leather shoes.

To add an extra burst of color to her appearance, the main character from A Complete Unknown, who recently filmed scenes as a postpartum mother alongside Michelle Pfeiffer at a hospital, finished off her style by sporting a vibrant pink, shiny lipstick.

At the pre-Oscars dinner, the accomplished actress received encouragement from her elder sister Dakota, who walked with her on the red carpet.

At the gala event, the actress from “The Watchers” chose a style reminiscent of a cape by donning a jacket quilted in its design. She adorned this piece by draping it over her shoulders and securing it at the neck with a ribbon tied into a bow.

Beneath her attire, there was a long, floral-print dress featuring elaborate embroidery at its hemline.

Both of the Fanning sisters left their identical, light blonde hair down in a straight hairstyle.

They displayed identical, sugary smiles while striking a pose on the red carpet side by side, then walked into the party hand in hand.

At the upcoming Academy Awards, Elle’s Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown is up for Best Picture. 

This year, the movie starring Timothee Chalamet earned a grand total of eight nominations during the Academy Awards ceremony.

Chalamet is up for the best actor award while Monica Barbaro is up for best supporting actress. 

Despite not receiving a nomination, Elle’s exceptional performance earned her recognition as she claimed the 2024 National Board of Review Award for Best Supporting Actress.

In “A Complete Unknown,” Elle takes on the role of Sylvie Russo, a character modeled after the late, genuine artist Suze Rotolo.

In the movie, Sylvie Russo plays a pivotal role as Bob Dylan’s (portrayed by Chalamet) initial significant other and a key figure in his narrative.

She is based on Suze Rotolo, who had been in a relationship with the musician from 1961 to 1964. 

As for Dakota, she last worked on an upcoming horror film: Vicious. 

In addition, she starred as Marge Sherwood in the Netflix mini-series titled “Ripley” and earned a nomination for a Golden Globe Award for her acting skills, which came in January 2025.

The Fanning sisters jointly manage their production company, Lewellen Pictures, often working together on projects.
