And Elizabeth Hurley has now revealed exactly how she maintains her incredible body.
The 60-year-old actress and model has shared the one significant thing she avoids to maintain her optimal health and appearance.
In an interview with The Daily Mail, she shared that she avoids alcohol completely except when she feels she deserves a special indulgence.
She shared, ‘I believe it’s likely due to my involvement with the breast cancer foundation; I’ve truly paid attention to their advice regarding health. Naturally, when you prioritize your well-being, you generally also appear healthier.’
They strongly recommend we avoid carrying extra weight and prioritize exercise and a healthy diet. They also discourage alcohol consumption, so I do my best to follow their advice whenever possible.

I rarely drink alcohol. I’ve noticed that with age, my body doesn’t handle it as well as it used to. Now, I only have a drink on very special occasions as a real treat.
She also mentioned that if she does happen to drink, the hangovers are now more severe as she’s getting older. It’s rare she drinks at all.
Elizabeth clarified: ‘As you get older, your body breaks down alcohol more slowly, and your liver requires some extra support, so that’s correct.’

She explained that she felt it was crucial to find a stylist who was truly knowledgeable and skilled. Therefore, they hired someone with experience from major fashion magazines, someone capable of sourcing high-fashion clothing. The stylist then found some truly remarkable pieces.
I didn’t think she’d ever been involved in a production like this before. She has a very sophisticated, almost intimidating style, so I told them there was no need for fittings. I said, “Don’t bother sending me any photos-just bring amazing clothes, and we’ll figure it out on the day.”
I was confident she’d bring excellent items, and we tested them out the evening before. I had faith in her, and she delivered.
She’s shared before that one of the keys to her youthful appearance and amazing physique is quite straightforward – she stays away from processed foods.
She told The Sydney Morning Herald that she does not subscribe to fad diets.
She said: ‘My tastes are pretty simple – I don’t drink weird green juices or anything like that.
I’ve always been mindful of my diet, as far back as I can remember. I’ve never had a desire for processed foods. Even as a teenager, I consistently checked food labels.
Oh my gosh, she’s just so *normal*! I was reading that she basically eats what anyone would – like, a classic roast chicken with mashed potatoes and a few different veggies. She specifically said it’s definitely nothing fancy or strange, which I just *love* about her! It’s so refreshing. She’s just one of us, you know?


When it comes to workouts, Elizabeth says she prefers gardening at home to formal exercise.
I don’t go to the gym, but I stay very active… I’m not one to sit around much,” she explained, and continued, “I do a lot of gardening – it involves a lot of bending and lifting things up!”
The actress recently revealed that the key to maintaining her youthful complexion is avoiding sun exposure.
Elizabeth often shares photos from her vacations showing her in small bikinis, but she emphasizes that she avoids the sun during peak hours and stays in the shade.
She recently posted a photo of herself relaxing in the sun, with the caption: ‘LA morning wake up. I only sunbathe before 9am or after 6pm – otherwise, I stay under a large umbrella.’
When asked about maintaining her fitness, she recently explained that she prioritizes exercise and focuses on eating healthy foods.
Oh my gosh, she’s just so dedicated! I learned she never eats anything heavy at night. And get this – her best dieting tip, which I’m totally trying now, is to eat most of your food earlier in the day. She says it gives your body more time to digest everything properly, so it can really rest while you sleep. It’s genius, honestly!
Elizabeth recently shared with Harper’s Bazaar her secrets to staying in amazing shape, revealing she can still fit into her iconic safety pin dress.
The Aria star explained: ‘I don’t hit the gym, but I’m always on the go. Just because something still fits doesn’t mean I’d wear it now – it wouldn’t suit the occasion!’
