Elizabeth Banks shared that in her role as a maid, she occasionally found and disposed of items like tampons and condoms from the bathrooms.
The actress, aged 51, reminisced about her earlier days when she tackled tough roles prior to achieving film success. She also spoke of a phase in her life when she had to clean restrooms just to earn a living.
She shared with The Kelly Clarkson Show that she began working at a very young age, having experienced various roles. For approximately ten years, she worked as a waitress. Additionally, she served as a housekeeper at a bed and breakfast establishment for some time.
The actress who starred in Charlie’s Angels used the moment to appeal, coming from personal experience, to anyone working within the hospitality industry.

Could you kindly refrain from disposing items other than toilet paper into the toilets? The number of discarded condoms and tampons I found myself removing from toilets during my teenage years still surprises me.
Yet, Elizabeth acknowledged that the encounter had a shaping effect on her, and now she feels prepared to face any challenge head-on.
She commented: “Kelly, I can venture to any location. The lifestyle you have isn’t all glitz and glamour; it often takes you to some really wild locations, and I find myself saying, ‘I’ve seen places even crazier.’
Elizabeth, mother of Felix (age 14) and Magnus (age 12), alongside her spouse Max Handelman, has asserted that her kids exhibit no desire to pursue acting careers like she did when considering their professional aspirations.
She shared with PEOPLE magazine that if her children choose to pursue acting (which they currently show no inclination towards), she would be overjoyed to collaborate with them on any project, should they consider spending time with her worthy.
It’s quite improbable; they probably wouldn’t spend time with me unless it involved getting paid for it.
She additionally shared that one of her sons took part in a school play lately, yet wasn’t satisfied with the reward he received for the effort he invested.
To E! News, she jokingly commented: “My child just performed in a school play, and he exclaimed, ‘All that work for a bouquet and some cheers!’
