Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington’s “unconventional” thriller confirms release date and first look

The upcoming thriller series, Imperfect Women, starring Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington, will premiere soon. Apple TV+ has announced the release date and shared a first look at the show, which centers around the investigation into the murder of a seemingly perfect woman by her two college friends.

This eight-part series is being called unique and will launch on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, with the first two episodes available immediately. New episodes will then be released each Wednesday following that.

The first images have been released showing Jessica Moss as Mary, Uzo Aduba as Eleanor, and Kate Mara as Nancy, all happily toasting with champagne.

Moss and Washington are executive producers on the project. Moss has previously shared their enthusiasm for the source material, saying they were immediately captivated by the novel and couldn’t stop reading it.

I’ve been a fan of Kerry’s acting and producing for a long time, and I’ve been hoping for a chance to collaborate with her.

Washington said he was incredibly excited to receive the call from Elisabeth, whom he’s admired for years as both a talented actor and innovative producer.

The new series, Imperfect Women, will launch on Apple TV with two episodes on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. New episodes will then be released every Wednesday.
