The story begins with a YouTube team – Kris, Matty, Izzy, and Chloe – getting ready to film a new episode of their show, ‘Nightmare of Dare Street,’ which is produced by Kevin. Their intern, Ryan, introduces them to a trending online game that sparks the episode’s plot.

Okay, so in this movie, the team finds themselves playing this weird game inside an elevator – it’s supposed to open a portal to another dimension. But things get real when they realize the legend behind the game is actually true, and suddenly they’re fighting for their lives against a seriously creepy ghost. It’s a total shift from puzzle-solving to a desperate fight for survival!

Verdict on Elevator Game

The Elevator Game is a scary thriller about a YouTube channel chasing views with supernatural content. When they stumble upon what seems like a simple challenge, they quickly realize it’s far more dangerous and must find a way to break the curse it unleashes.

The movie explores the dangers of viral social media challenges, showing how easily they can spiral out of control, even though people continue to participate. While the initial concept is interesting, the film struggles to stay focused on it. Once the action moves beyond the confined elevator setting, it starts to feel like a typical haunted house story. It’s still enjoyable, but loses the clever connection to the social media game idea. The ghost itself is effectively creepy and, as often happens, becomes the most memorable part of the film.
