Elden Ring Nightreign Will Have Poison Swamps, Despair Not

If you’ve been tossing and turning at night over the possibility that Elden Ring Nightreign won’t have a toxic marshland, you can now breathe easy again. In keeping with FromSoftware’s style, expect to find poisonous swamps as part of the game, although they may take on a unique twist.

Director Junya Ishizaki shared with PC Gamer (through GamesRadar) that the game “Nightreign” will incorporate substantial alterations to the landscape, such as randomly appearing volcanoes, swamps, or forests. The game’s map is reminiscent of a vast dungeon.

As a game enthusiast, I designed the map to feel like an expansive dungeon, offering a fresh adventure each time you play. On your third day, you’ll find yourself at a crossroads, deciding which boss you wish to challenge in the finale.

After deciding on your strategy, you might envision different ways to tackle that boss, which could influence your overall playstyle on the map, he explained. Our aim was to give players the freedom to choose their own approach, such as opting for a poison weapon to battle that boss this time around.

As a gamer, I can’t wait to dive into the world of Elden Ring: Nightreign! It seems like there will be no shortage of swampy landscapes and even some familiar faces from the Dark Souls universe. Plus, it looks like they’ve added roguelike elements and co-op for three players instead of just two. That means less waiting around for friends to join in, which is always a plus! And unlike other games, there won’t be any opportunity to leave warnings or misleading directions for other players – something I find myself doing way too often. Elden Ring: Nightreign is set to drop later this year, so mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
