Elden Ring Movie Adaptation Set for Release in 2028; Full Cast Revealed

Just in case you missed the news, a real-life movie based on the popular video game Elden Ring is being made, and we now know when it’s coming out.

Alex Garland, the director behind films like Ex Machina and the upcoming 28 Years Later, is making a movie based on the game Elden Ring! It’s scheduled to come out on March 3, 2028.

Not only do we have a release date, but the full cast has been revealed as well.

Elden Ring Movie Cast Revealed

The upcoming Elden Ring movie will be shot in the immersive IMAX format, and production is scheduled to start in Spring 2026. The actors who will star in the film have also been revealed.

Hopefully, we’ll get a trailer or something before the year ends.

Although it’s been four years since FromSoftware’s biggest hit came out, the studio is so well-known now that I don’t think that will affect the movie’s success when it’s released in 2028.
