Ekin-Su Claps Back at Ex Georges After Shocking Love Island Claims!

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu fired back at ex-boyfriend Georges Berthonneau, who stated they were dating during her participation in Love Island: All Stars, by challenging his claim.

Last week, it was disclosed that Ekin-Su, aged 30, was in a relationship with a contestant from Married at First Sight UK (MAFS UK) before she appeared on the ITV dating program in January. It was during this show where she met her boyfriend, Curtis Pritchard.

Georges said he believed she loved him until he witnessed her ‘painful betrayal’ with the dancer. 

But Ekin-Su has now hit back, after she seemingly directed a savage TikTok at her ex. 

Ekin-Su posted a TikTok video where she was initially seen in gym attire, then shed her running jacket. The video was set against Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi track. As she playfully winked at the camera, she moved about to the song’s lyrics expressing, “I’m your biggest fan, I’ll pursue you until you appreciate me.

In a further swipe, Ekin-Su captioned the clip: ‘It’s giving obsessed’. 

As per Georges, he and Ekin were deeply in love, but Ekin decided to audition for the ITV2 show to boost her career prospects. They reached an understanding that she wouldn’t progress beyond sharing a kiss with another Islander during her stint on the dating program, where she was the main cast member.

However, Georges, at 32 years old, admitted to being in a relationship with Ekin for ten months and publicly acknowledged it for the first time. He alleges that Ekin broke his heart by openly dating Curtis Pritchard on live television, causing him great distress.

Georges confirmed their 10-month romance and claimed Ekin betrayed him by becoming Curtis’ girlfriend on national TV, leaving him distraught.

During an exclusive chat with TopMob, Georges shared that he and Ekin had envisioned a shared future, used endearing terms for one another, vacationed in France during the summer season, and celebrated Boxing Day by exchanging presents – all this happening merely 18 days prior to her stepping into the South African villa.

The personal trainer expressed that the past five weeks felt like a ‘difficult ordeal’ while Ekin was on the dating show, as she passionately kissed Curtis, 29, and gave a sensual performance in red lingerie during the Heart Rate Challenge segment of the program.

However, following Ekin distancing herself from Georges after the conclusion of All Stars, not contacting him until a week later, she ultimately called off their relationship, stating: “I can’t maintain a relationship with someone who is dating someone else…

Georges mentioned that they had been dating since last April. They had been spending time together, including celebrating Boxing Day together.

She frequently joined our family gatherings, got acquainted with my nephews, aunt, uncles, and other relatives. In turn, I had the opportunity to meet her mother on a few occasions as well as her sibling.

In the whirlwind of our budding romance, spanning just six weeks, I confess – I had fallen head over heels for this extraordinary girl. She bestowed upon me the endearing nickname ‘Bear,’ while she was affectionately known as ‘Olive’ due to her captivating olive complexion. One of our final exchanges between us read, “I love you, my Bear,” a message that still resonates deeply within me.

The bond between us was incredibly deep and personal. Our connection ran strong, as we shared an extraordinary level of closeness. We poured out our hearts to one another, both physically and emotionally, expressing a profound affection. However, she chose to abandon all that we had built for a romantic storyline with Curtis Pritchard on television.

In 2022, I, a diehard fan, couldn’t believe my eyes when Ekin, the undeniable star of Love Island, made her triumphant comeback to the villa alongside her then-beau, Davide Sanclimenti, the man who had won my heart along with hers.

In January, she informed her 4.3 million followers: “I thought I had moved on from Love Island, but it seems I’m back in the thick of things. The excitement, the turmoil, the doubtful choices – I find myself drawn to it all again.

However, Georges asserts that Ekin initially reached out to him through a playful Instagram message, and he believes her main motivation for joining the show was to advance her career. Feeling compelled by this, he decided to go along with it.

All Stars, a show where participants often develop relationships with one another.

He expressed: ‘I was tricked. She manipulated me into believing false information. Earlier, before she entered the villa, I advised her, “You understand no one else would allow you to join the show,” and she retorted, “And that’s precisely why I won’t be with someone who wouldn’t support my career decisions.”‘

I have a sense of being taken advantage of. It seems like she’s constantly driven by the urge for wealth, brand endorsements, and fame, with the goal of becoming widely recognized, and these things appear to be her sole focus.

She strongly urged her not to participate in All Stars, as her friends felt the same way due to her having someone at home whom she deeply cares for and cherishes. However, she asserted that it was a crucial step for her professional growth.

She prioritized her career over personal life, including having a family, despite expressing a desire for both. Ultimately, this choice resulted in her sacrificing our relationship.

Regardless that she was participating in Love Island, she asked me not to date any other women while she was gone. I assured her it wasn’t going to happen because I love her.
