eFootball x Captain Tsubasa Crossover Event Kicks Off Today With Special Events
As a long-time gamer who has grown up watching anime and football, this crossover between eFootball and Captain Tsubasa is like a dream come true! I remember reading the manga as a kid and being captivated by the thrilling football matches and unforgettable characters. To see them now in my favorite mobile game is just surreal.
Konami is teaming up with the popular soccer comic and anime series, Captain Tubasa, to introduce a fresh collaboration for their game titled eFootball. Upon signing in, players can access themed items, and upcoming events will feature playable characters from Captain Tubasa.
The creator of Captain Tsubasa, Yoichi Takahashi, has additionally sketched fresh depictions of Lionel Messi and Takefusa Kubo for the crossover, donning unique outfits modeled after the ‘Nankatsu Junior High School’ uniforms from the original manga.
In addition, unique Captain Tsubasa collaboration cards are on offer, featuring real-life players alongside characters such as Hikaru Matsuyama paired with Joshua Kimmich and Ryo Ishizaki combined with Dayot Upamecano. Also, a Daily Bonus lets you attempt penalty kicks as anime characters to garner rewards.
In this Time Attack competition, characters from ‘Tsubasa Oozora’ and ‘Taro Misaki’ (totaling ten) will be playable. Your objective is to race against the clock to reach the finish line on each level. As you progress, you can gather items that, when assembled, create a beautiful piece of artwork based on ‘Captain Tsubasa’. Additionally, you can unlock unique character profiles and various in-game rewards.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super pumped to share that the epic collaboration between eFootball and Captain Tubasa is now live! This crossover event will run all the way up to February 20th, 2025. But here’s the kicker – if you want to get your hands on the exclusive unlockable cards from Vol. 1 of this campaign, you better hurry because they’re only available until December 26th! So grab your controllers and let’s get playing!
