As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that KONAMI has launched an extraordinary eFootball 2025 campaign specifically designed for us Indians! From August to October 2025, expect a rollercoaster ride of engaging events, star appearances, and much more. The campaign is inspired by our national pride on Independence Day and the festive spirit of Diwali, culminating in an unforgettable Meet & Greet event in Mumbai this December 2025!

You’ll have an opportunity to join two significant events: the Independence Day Tournament and the Diwali Tournament. The exciting news is, you won’t be taking part as a solo player.
You’re eligible for two major competitions, the Independence Day Cup and the Diwali Cup. Here’s the best part: You’ll not be competing on your own.
Notable personalities such as Cricket star KL Rahul, football legend Sunil Chhetri, content creator Focused Indian, cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy, and actor Ahan Shetty are all participating in an exciting event. In addition to this stellar lineup, game developer KONAMI has joined forces with artist Santanu Hazarika for a unique Independence Day partnership.
Instead of ending with just matches, the campaign also offers online activities like challenges, quizzes, practice games (scrims), and community gatherings on the eFootball India Discord server.
The best participants across these events, such as our most engaged community member, will receive an invitation to a fantastic Interact & Mingle event in Mumbai. Additionally, there are exciting real-life prizes and exclusive in-game bonuses available to be won.
KONAMI’s eFootball General Producer, Junichi Taya, stated that India is an incredibly vibrant community for eFootball. He further mentioned that by collaborating with notable figures in Indian sports and culture, we are creating initiatives to honor India. As the eFootball industry expands in India, our goal is to pave the way forward by being at the forefront of this growth.
