eFootball 2026 v5.1.0 update introduces new Campaign, packs, license additions and more

The latest update, version 5.1.0, is now available for eFootball 2026. It’s a small update focusing on some gameplay improvements. A new high-level ‘Legend Epic’ player card has also been added, and there are a couple of special events running in certain regions.

Feature Additions and Changes

This update introduces two new features for customizing stadiums: Goal Projections and Kick-off Projections. We’ve also renamed some stadium elements for clarity, and redesigned the Profile Banner selection screen to make it easier to use.

Ranking Events are now only open to players with an ‘A’ Courtesy Rating. We’ve also updated how player skills are described in several languages. Finally, we’ve refreshed team data for the latest seasons in Ligue 2 BKT, AFC Champions League Elite, and AFC Champions League Two.

New licenses

KONAMI has added five Italian football clubs – Parma Calcio 1913, Udinese Calcio, Torino FC, Hellas Verona FC, and Como 1907 – to its game, along with the German team Eintracht Frankfurt. Updated team information has also been included.

Diwali Campaign

The Diwali Campaign, originally created for players in India, is now available worldwide, bringing a festive atmosphere to eFootball.

The event lasts about two weeks and lets players earn a unique Diwali-themed item, a new manager with a team-building feature, and various rewards. A special 7-day login bonus will also be available, offering items like game points (GP), experience points (EXP), and special Diwali effects. This login bonus can award up to 50,000 GP and 20,000 EXP.

The event features a special Diwali-themed visual effect for when you score goals, and a limited-time profile banner to customize your player profile. As a bonus, players can get a free Sunil Chhetri card and Avatar during the campaign!

New Manager: Cesc Fabregas

This update adds Cesc Fabregas as a new Manager with the Over-the-Top Pass A style. He’ll be available for free during the Diwali event and has an 89 rating in Possession Game proficiency. We’ve also included double boosters that give a +1 boost to both Lofted Pass and Defensive Engagement.

New Epic pack

We’re seeing a lot of familiar storylines in the game, but a brand new face has arrived: football legend Rio Ferdinand! He joins Wayne Rooney and Darren Fletcher, and Red Devil fans are eager to try out their skills with the new lineup.
