The biggest news is Yamal’s arrival as a top-tier player. Mbappé continues to be a consistently powerful choice, and Joan García offers a strong, attacking goalkeeping alternative with impressive stats.

This new card is a significant improvement over his previous ‘World Player of the Year’ version. While the older card had a good combination of skills like Cross Specialist, Edged Crossing, and Momentum Dribbling, this updated version feels much more effective and threatening in today’s game.

Yamal now has the Prolific Winger and Blitz Curler traits, combined with Momentum Dribbling, which is a great fit for his playstyle. Because powerful long-range shots and curled shots are currently effective in the game, adding Blitz Curler is a significant upgrade.

Previously, Yamal was known for his playmaking and dribbling skills. Now, he’s also proving to be a real threat to score goals. His dribbling remains excellent – quick, agile, and balanced, especially with his use of Momentum Dribbling, which gives him a fantastic feel for the ball.

I’m really glad this card has improved finishing capabilities. Previous Yamal cards often prioritized flair over consistent results, but now he can reliably score high numbers. He still passes well, so he hasn’t lost his playmaking ability either.

This Yamal card is one of the best we’ve seen so far, and a significant improvement over the previous Cross Specialist version.

Kylian Mbappé

Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Low Screamer

Mbappé has been named to the Spanish League Best team for the second year running, also earning the honor in the 2025 season. I was hoping for a significantly improved card this time, not just a standard one, but even so, the card is incredibly impressive.

This Mbappé profile delivers exactly what you’d expect: incredible speed and acceleration, combined with excellent attacking instincts. He now also has the ‘Low Screamer’ trait, giving him another powerful way to score. He’s highly skilled at dribbling, moves fluidly, and, unlike some fast players, doesn’t feel awkward when changing direction.

He’s physically capable enough to avoid being easily pushed around, and his precise footwork is a major advantage, making his finishing moves harder to anticipate.

It’s getting to the point where new Mbappé cards are incredibly overpowered. People aren’t even comparing him to other players anymore, just to his previous versions. The new Big Time version is likely to be game-breaking.

Joan García

This player is a Goalkeeper with an offensive playing style. They excel at making visionary passes and directing the defense.

Joan García is probably the underrated card in this pack. The stat profile is honestly very strong all around. He basically maxes out the three core areas of a goalkeeper that most people care about: awareness, reflexes, and reach.

Standing at 191cm, he’s a good height for today’s game, meaning he should have no trouble reaching shots and covering the goal. His quick reflexes, particularly at their peak, will be a major advantage in close-quarters plays. What really sets him apart, though, are his Visionary Pass and GK Directing Defence abilities.

While it’s rare to see a goalkeeper with the ‘Visionary Pass’ trait, players who enjoy building play from the defense or using their goalkeeper as an attacking threat might find it surprisingly helpful for passing.

GK Directing Defence is still one of those skills I feel people need more time with before properly judging, but at least it gives him something unique compared to standard goalkeeper cards.
