Okay, so Konami is still doing those player packs in eFootball 2026 – it’s something they’ve been doing for a while now, and this time it’s a huge one with 100 players! They also added a new playing style called ‘Over-the-Top Pass C’ in the recent v5.3.0 update, which sounds interesting. And to top it off, they’ve released special ‘Show Time’ versions of Virgil van Dijk and Mohammed Salah, which, as a fan, I’m definitely excited about!
One of the great things about this pack is that the featured players are readily available, so you don’t have to risk spending a lot of in-game currency without getting anyone. But are these players actually worth trying to get? I’ll share my thoughts in this review.
eFootball 2026 Show Time Over-the-Top Pass C players
Virgil van Dijk
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
- Showtime Skills: Long-Reach Tackle and Visionary Pass
Virgil van Dijk is a consistently reliable player – you always know what you’re getting with him. He’s been a top performer for years, and this particular card feels like his best yet, a clear improvement over his previous ‘Squad Pillars 24-25 Season’s Best Big Time’ version.
He’s an incredibly strong defender – truly elite. What makes him special is that he doesn’t lose any speed while being a defensive powerhouse, and that’s a major improvement. His Long Reach Tackle makes him even tougher to beat, and he also passes much better than in previous versions, making his Visionary Pass ability really effective.
While some preferred Aerial Fort, I always found this player strong in aerial battles – his height gives him a clear advantage when going for headers. He’s the best choice in this group, and a fantastic value for his price.

Mohammed Salah
- Position: RWF
- Playing Style: Prolific Winger
- Showtime Skills: Momentum Dribbling and Blitz Curler
I really enjoyed using last year’s Salah card, and I still think it’s great. This new version is a noticeable improvement, largely due to the Blitz Curler ability. Many players consider the previous Salah card to be among the best at using Blitz Curler, right up there with Son and Messi, so adding that skill to an already strong card makes him even more of a threat.
Playing with Salah feels amazing – he’s exactly as quick and skillful as you’d hope. He’s really sharp with the ball, super agile in close quarters, and cutting inside with him is so smooth. I’m really glad they kept his Momentum Dribbling – it consistently helps him get past defenders, and it just fits his style perfectly!
He’s always been a bit slight, which is common for wingers. As long as he’s not asked to play a physically demanding role, he excels at what he does best: creating scoring opportunities, dribbling inside, and finishing games. And if you have a manager like Klopp and a defender like Van Dijk, those long passes over the top really suit his skillset.
Recommended skills include quick passing, close ball control, accurate through balls, determination, and the ability to shoot with both rising and dipping trajectories.

Best pick from the Show Time Over-the-Top Pass C pack in eFootball 2026
If you can afford them, I highly recommend buying these cards. The 100-player pack includes two fantastic cards that are immediately useful in your lineup, and they both have great abilities. While Show Time cards sometimes have visual glitches, these two appear to be consistently reliable in gameplay, so you shouldn’t encounter any issues.
