eFootball 2026 has released the Show Time National Teams pack, adding some excellent new players to help strengthen your team. A Selection Contract is also included, letting you choose one standout player from these national teams.
Okay, so in this new Team Selection, we’ve got four awesome players to choose from: Jordan Henderson, Bernardo Silva, Marquinhos, and Andrew Robertson. Each one has a special Show Time skill, and honestly, they all look really good! I’m trying to figure out who to pick, so here’s what I think about each of them.
eFootball 2026 Show Time National Teams Selection Contract picks
Jordan Henderson
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Anchor Man
- Showtime Skill: Long-Reach Tackle
Before writing this, I’d already seen people talking about Henderson being the likely choice. It makes sense – he’s a fantastic defensive midfielder with a top-tier defensive skill and solid stats overall.

I was surprised to see how good he was, since I’d only used his standard card in Liverpool-themed events. This card is really impressive – he’s designed to break up plays and control the game from midfield, and his Long-Reach Tackle makes him even better at intercepting passes and stopping attacks.
He’s a very good passer, and his abilities fit the role well. However, I wouldn’t classify him as a dedicated defensive midfielder just yet. He’d benefit from developing skills like sliding tackles and man-marking, and improving his heading, clearances, and aerial ability would be a plus.
Bernardo Silva
- Position: RWF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass
I immediately knew this card would be popular, and looking at it now, it’s easy to see why. Bernardo has always been a remarkably skillful player who makes the game look effortless, and I’ve been a fan ever since his first Player of the Week card came out.

While his overall game might look different, his incredible ball control remains a constant. Statistically, his dribbling and passing are still top-tier, and despite not perfectly fitting a specific role, he excels as either an attacking midfielder or a right winger.
I really like using the Visionary Pass skill, especially for that final pass, so that’s how I’ve set up this player. I think he works best as a central playmaker – he’s perfect if you want a team that controls possession and builds up play patiently.
Marquinhos
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
- Showtime Skill: Aerial Fort
Marquinhos is a fantastic player in this version of the game. He has a solid player ID and excels at ground defending, reminding some of a smaller version of Baresi. Comparing his previous cards to this one, he consistently appears to have accurate stats that translate well to his performance on the field – he’s consistently rated appropriately and plays that way.

He’s not a player who throws himself into tackles without thinking. Instead, he anticipates plays and steps in to intercept the ball before opponents become a threat. He’s equally strong in the air, possessing both the height and the statistics to back it up, and his ‘Show Time’ ability often gives him an edge when competing for aerial balls.
The main thing that might make it hard to use him is his speed, which isn’t quite perfect. While many defenders perform well at a pace of 85, you can still use him effectively if you set him up correctly, as his positioning is excellent. Make sure to equip the Sliding Tackle skill.
Andrew Robertson
- Position: LB
- Playing Style: Offensive Fullback
- Showtime Skill: Edged Crossing
When I saw Robertson’s player card, I immediately thought he’d be exactly as expected – energetic, constantly pushing forward, and always looking to cross the ball. His style of play as an Offensive Fullback, combined with the Edged Crossing Show Time skill, is perfect for players who enjoy a lofted pass.

Robertson is a relentless player who constantly hustles. He consistently chases down loose balls, quickly recovers defensively, and still has the energy to deliver quality crosses even when the game is winding down. He’s a well-rounded fullback with no obvious weaknesses, and his stamina is a major asset.
The automatic build isn’t ideal. I’d recommend a 5-4-8-12-4-10 formation – it’s more balanced and gets his overall rating to 103, something the current build doesn’t achieve. You could even focus some training on developing him as a wider midfielder, as he’s capable of playing that position effectively.
eFootball 2026 Show Time National Teams Selection: Verdict and Tier List
Okay, so I really want to try out all four of these cards, but it’s tough without getting help from my friends! Since I can’t easily do that, I’m sharing my first impressions based on the card stats and how the original versions played for me.
| Tier | Players |
|---|---|
| SSS (Overpowered) | None |
| SS (Very Strong) | Bernardo Silva, Jordan Henderson |
| S (Strong) | Marquinhos, Andrew Robertson |
| A (Good) | None |
| B (Average) | None |
| C (Below Average) | None |
It might surprise some people that Silva was chosen, as he likely wasn’t the first choice. All four players could be useful, but if I had to choose someone who’s immediately prepared to contribute, it would be Bernardo Silva.
He’s ideally suited for his current role. The other players need some development to reach their full potential. Regarding strikers with good positioning, he’s second only to Henderson in terms of skill. A Creative Playmaker attacking midfielder isn’t as strong an option compared to the other three choices.
You can choose any four players, but if you’re asking for my recommendation, I’d go with Bernardo Silva, Jordan Henderson, Andrew Robertson, and Marquinhos.
