eFootball 2026 Show Time Earthmover pack review

The latest Show Time pack has arrived in eFootball 2026, and it’s called Earthmover. As the name suggests, it features three powerful players known for their defensive skills: Ibrahima Konaté, Federico Valverde, and Moisés Caicedo.

This pack focuses on two players with strong work rate and physical abilities. While it looks good on paper, the big question is whether it delivers the same thrilling gameplay we’ve come to expect from recent releases. Here’s my take.

eFootball 2026 Show Time Earthmover pack players

Ibrahima Konaté

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Destroyer
  • Show Time Skills: Fortress and Aerial Fort

Ibrahima Konate is a commanding presence in defense, and he plays just like you’d imagine: powerfully, aggressively, and he consistently wins aerial duels. He’s an excellent tackler and defender, and once he engages an opponent, they rarely get past him.

This player has consistently performed well with his previous cards too. He’s a reliable center-back with a playstyle that lets him win most one-on-one battles. His Aerial Fort skill makes him excellent in the air, meaning he rarely loses aerial duels and consistently wins headers.

I’ve noticed his speed feels off. I adjusted his stats, adding points from heading and defense to his pace and acceleration, but the results didn’t seem accurate. Giving him a Long Range Tackle skill would have made this card a top choice, and it’s disappointing that wasn’t included.

Federico Valverde

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Box to Box
  • Show Time Skills: Visionary Pass and Low Screamer

Okay, so Valverde is basically the player you can rely on for anything. He’s a total workhorse in midfield, running all over the place and able to play pretty much any role you need. His stats are really solid all around, and those special traits – Visionary Pass and Low Screamer – give him a nice boost when transitioning from defending to attacking. He’s a really well-rounded player, honestly!

He reacts quickly and is surprisingly agile for a strong midfielder. His passing is precise, and he’s known for his powerful long shots. Importantly, he has excellent stamina, consistently running hard throughout the entire game and still having energy at the very end.

While his gameplay has changed, this version isn’t a huge improvement over his earlier Show Time release. The Box-to-Box style is good for pushing forward, but I still prefer the Destroyer because it has a powerful ST skill – Long-Range Tackle.

Moisés Caicedo

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Destroyer
  • Show Time Skill: Long Reach Tackle

If you enjoy a high-pressure, ball-winning style of play, Caicedo is likely the most enjoyable of these three players. He’s very aggressive, excellent at intercepting passes, and his Long Reach Tackle ability lets him win the ball back from almost anywhere on the field – which is why I particularly like this card.

He’s surprisingly agile and quick for a destroyer, and he doesn’t tire easily, letting him maintain constant pressure throughout a game. I used him in a defensive midfield setup, where his passing is good for quick plays but isn’t strong enough to build up attacks over longer distances.

Okay, so as a defensive midfielder, this guy isn’t quite the same kind of aggressive ball-winner as Makelele – he’s not as strong in the air. But honestly, he’d be amazing playing with a bigger, more physical defensive mid. If you can pair him with someone like Caicedo, you’re looking at a seriously solid midfield pairing – that guarantees a powerful presence in the center of the pitch.

Verdict on the Show Time Earthmover pack players in eFootball 2026

The Earthmover pack is reliable, but doesn’t really stand out. While all three cards are good at what they do, they don’t offer much that you can’t already find in other options. Because Show Time players are linked to real-world performance, we expect to see even stronger and more consistent cards released in the future.

If you already own good versions of these players, you can safely skip this pack. It might be worth getting if you need to strengthen your team, but otherwise, it’s really only for collectors or fans of the featured clubs.

Pack Rating: 3.5 out of 5
