Okay, so Show Time packs are dropping more and more in eFootball 2026, and this week it’s the Anticipated Standouts pack. Honestly, it’s looking pretty good for defenders! They’ve featured three solid options with Show Time skills: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Alexander Isak, and Matheus Cunha. I’m definitely checking this one out to beef up my back line.

The new Standouts pack features three players who seem to fill important positions: a strong goalkeeper, a forward who excels at winning headers, and a playmaker. While none of them are game-changing superstars, I’ll take a closer look and rank them based on their potential.

Alexander Isak

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher
  • Show Time Skills: Momentum Dribbling and Bullet Header

Okay, so as a gamer, I’ve been checking out Isak, and he’s definitely a counter-attack machine. He’s tall *and* fast, which means he’s perfect for running onto through balls and punishing teams that play a high line. Plus, his in-game trait, ‘Momentum Dribbling,’ lets him keep the ball close while turning and getting into good shooting positions – that’s probably why his dribbling stats look good, too!

Bullet Header is a decent player, though heading isn’t his best skill. His height is an advantage, so improving his jumping ability above 80 could make him well-rounded. He’s fast and accelerates quickly, but his player ID might slightly hold him back.

He’s capable of holding up the ball, but he really shines when making runs to get into scoring positions. To get the most out of him, play him with a creative central attacking midfielder or a fast winger who can deliver through balls. And be sure to develop his long-range shooting ability.

Gianluigi Donnarumma

  • Position: GK
  • Playing Style: Offensive Goalkeeper
  • Show Time Skills: None

It’s a little strange to me that this new goalkeeper card doesn’t have any special skills like Dida and Allison’s recent cards did – they both got that GK Directing Defense ability. But honestly, even without those skills, Donnarumma is still an amazing sweeper-keeper and plays at a really high level.

This goalkeeper is proactive and will rush out of the goal to challenge attackers in one-on-one situations and intercept long passes when the defense plays a high line. He’s consistently dependable, with strong base statistics, and can achieve ratings above 95 with the right training and development.

This card’s biggest strength is its excellent reach. It works best in teams that play with a high press and defensive line, as it effectively cuts out long passes and prevents opponents from running behind the defense.

Matthaus Cunha

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
  • Show Time Skills: Blitz Curler and Acceleration Burst

Cunha is a versatile player who excels in attacking spaces. His Acceleration Burst trait is a great asset, and combined with his strong dribbling stats and Striker skill boost, you can significantly increase his speed, making him a very effective player.

What makes this card really good? His key skills – Blitz Curler and Acceleration Burst – are powerful, but they need high stats to be effective, and this card delivers those stats. It wouldn’t make sense to use him in a purely supportive role; he’s built to utilize those skills directly.

Consider using this player as a hybrid Short/Midfielder. Position them at Shortstop to improve your team’s positioning near the goal, then focus on shooting. If you prefer a playmaker, increase their passing stats and slightly lower their finishing ability. It’s a surprisingly effective card overall.

Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Show Time Anticipated Standouts players

I generally only recommend Show Time cards if they’re among the very best options for end-game teams. This pack doesn’t quite reach that level. While it includes two solid attackers and a reliable goalkeeper, it doesn’t offer any game-changing players, particularly when Epic cards are currently so powerful.
