eFootball 2026: Ranking the Top 10 Best Strikers (CF) available

As a huge eFootball fan, I have to say, Konami has been dropping players like crazy with eFootball 2026! We’ve gotten everything from those cool, green Epic cards to the Show Time cards, and now these new Big Time forwards are out. It’s been a really exciting season with so many new releases to keep track of!

Collectible Funds (CF) options are definitely the most abundant. We receive many different packs and try our luck with a few. Ultimately, players always want to know: who performs best under pressure?

Here’s a simple ranking of the 10 best strikers in eFootball 2026, without getting too complicated.

Top 10 Best CFs in eFootball 2026

This list includes players of all rarities and focuses solely on traditional strikers. To keep things consistent, I’ve only considered players who naturally play as forwards.

We’ve only included strikers with specific playstyles – specifically, those categorized as Goal Poachers, Fox in the Boxes, Dummy Runners, or Deep-Lying Forwards. While some players can play as a center forward, I’ve left out wingers and players with mixed roles who don’t truly embody the traditional center forward style.

This ranking is heavily influenced by the current popular strategies in the game. Because of this, expect the rankings to shift whenever those strategies change.

1. Kylian Mbappé

  • Card Version: Show Time Breakthrough Pass
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

Most players consider this to be the top-performing defensive card in the game. I prefer the newest version, especially the one with Phenomenal Finishing, as it offers a lot of customization options.

He’s quick and precise with the ball, and probably the fastest forward in the game. While not a power player, his mental fortitude keeps him effective even when tired, making him an ideal leading striker. From my experience, this card consistently performs well and is, without a doubt, the best.

2. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

  • Card Version: Big Time AC Milan
  • Playing Style: Fox in the Box

The first standout striker in eFootball 26 is incredibly powerful. He consistently finds excellent positions in the penalty area, making him a dangerous attacking threat with very few flaws. He anticipates crosses and passes from the wings or midfield perfectly, always seeming to be in the right place at the right time.

He’s a player who can change a game without needing many opportunities, and simply being on the field draws attention from the opposing team. He excels in a deliberate, measured style of play that emphasizes passing and build-up. It’s important to remember he’s not a typical goal-scorer who constantly makes runs, so don’t expect that from him.

3. Pele

  • Card Version: Epic World Classics
  • Playing Style: Deep-Lying Forward

Pelé is a really fun and effective striker to play with in the game. He’s great at both creating chances and finishing them, making him a versatile attacking threat. He was the first player in eFootball to have two sets of special skills, and he remains a powerful option for skilled players.

He’s quick, agile, and incredibly reactive on the field, giving him exceptional close control. He excels at dribbling and accelerating in crowded areas, and his passes are consistently accurate and well-placed. He’s a premier striker, and those who understand how to utilize deep-lying forwards will immediately recognize his value.

4. Karl Heinz Rummenigge

  • Card Version: Epic FC Bayern Munchen
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

Currently, this Rummenigge card is his strongest version. Despite being the only one on this list with just one special skill (Show Time), he remains a great choice. He excels with speed and making quick, direct runs, and he’s incredibly fast at exploiting any opening in the defense.

He’s a real threat on the counter-attack thanks to his quickness and ability to accelerate. He excels in these situations, and his runs are fantastic – he’s a fast, skilled dribbler and surprisingly good in the air. Honestly, he has everything you could ask for in a player.

5. Luis Suarez

  • Card Version: Epic European Clubs Attackers
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

This Suarez rendition perfectly embodies what made him a top-class striker. He’s quick and precise with the ball, moves with real intensity, and is a serious threat when he gets a chance to shoot. The Momentum Dribbling feature enhances his natural fluidity and makes him even harder to defend against.

Suarez continues to offer more than just what the stats show. He’s strong on his feet and uses his physicality well to maintain possession, and he’s still a very precise finisher, able to score from various positions, even if he doesn’t always deliver spectacular goals.

6. Cristiano Ronaldo

  • Card Version: Big Time Portugal
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

Even now, Cristiano Ronaldo is still one of the most dependable center forwards in the game. This special version of his card feels more polished than his previous ones, with excellent stats across the board, and he excels at everything you need from a striker.

He’s a fantastic finisher with a powerful header, making him a major aerial threat and giving his team another scoring option. While he might not be the strongest dribbler, his incredible shooting range makes skillful dribbling unnecessary.

7. Ousmane Dembélé

  • Card Version: Big Time World Player of the Year 2025
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

To earn a Ballon d’Or card, a player needs to be world-class. Ousmane Dembélé feels incredibly quick and graceful in-game. He’s a fantastic dribbler, and his Momentum Dribbling ability really stands out. He excels at running into open space and finishes chances effectively when he has room to operate.

While Dembele might not be as naturally gifted at finding scoring opportunities as some other forwards, he excels at carrying the ball and dribbling past defenders. Some may see him as ideal for simple through-ball plays, but he truly shines when used by players who enjoy skillful dribbling.

8. Marco Van Basten

  • Card Version: Epic Over-the-Top Pass
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

I’m genuinely impressed with this card – if I were to let personal preference completely guide me, it would be my top pick. Van Basten has consistently been my most effective striker. He’s incredibly well-rounded and can handle anything I need him to do. His shooting feels effortless, and his in-game positioning is unmatched by any other player I’ve used.

He doesn’t require many opportunities to be effective, and consistently scores when he gets them. He excels within a well-organized attack, benefiting from good team play. He’s a consistently dependable forward who you can count on every game.

9. Romario

  • Card Version: Epic FC Barcelona
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

Romario is a surprisingly fun player to use. He’s incredibly skilled with the ball at his feet, making him dangerous when dribbling. While he isn’t strong in the air, very few players excel at headers – Ronaldo and Koller being the main exceptions in this game.

Instead, he excels at maneuvering in crowded areas and quickly converting opportunities into goals. When used effectively, he’s a dangerous presence in the penalty area and can win games even without needing to be heavily involved – it all comes down to getting the most out of his strengths.

10. Andriy Shevchenko

  • Card Version: Epic Breakthrough Pass
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher

Honestly, Shevchenko is the perfect finishing touch to any team. He’s such a direct and effective striker – his runs are so sharp, and he’s always first to exploit any gaps in the defense. I’ve really come to appreciate how valuable the Acceleration Burst trait is for strikers, and he’s the reason why! He just makes it work so well.

He finishes plays with assurance and isn’t afraid to take shots when opportunities arise. He consistently contributes during games and thrives in fast-paced, attacking formations. He’s currently ranked tenth, but you might find he deserves a higher spot.

Notable Mentions

Okay, so beyond my top ten, there are a couple of players I really love. I’ve been using Rudd Gullit from the AC Milan pack as my striker, and honestly, I think he’s amazing – maybe even a top three striker! But he actually came as an attacking midfielder, so I’m going to hold off on fully ranking him until I do a separate list for those positions. It’s the same with Cruyff from the Messi pack. He plays better as a secondary striker than a main one, even if I use a deep-lying forward style with him.

Players like Samuel Eto’o, Ferenc Puskas, Christian Vieri, Francesco Totti, and Jan Koller are still excellent choices and are nearly as strong as our top-ranked players. It’s worth noting that some of these players could also be highly ranked in different categories, depending on the specific playing style being considered.
