The eFootball 2026 season is still going strong, with new events and player packs being released regularly. Many players, including us, especially look forward to the weekly ‘Player of the Week’ releases, as they’re a great way to improve our teams.
Each week, new player cards are added featuring athletes who are currently performing well in real life. While not every player will be a perfect fit for your team, there are always a few exceptional cards worth trying to get. That’s why I created this guide – to help you choose the best available players.
eFootball 2026 POTW Weekly Tier List – 11th September, 2025
The game currently features a special promotion highlighting Players of the Week from national teams, with 11 players available. Players will also receive one free attempt through the Tour Event.

After analyzing the cards, here’s my tier list of the eFootball 2026 POTW for 11th September, 2025.

In addition to the others, five players-Aurélien Tchouaméni, Kevin De Bruyne, Reece James, Mateo Retegui, and Mikel Merino-will also receive the Single Booster upgrade.
Okay, if I had to choose, I’d go with Messi, Merino, and De Bruyne – they’re just powerhouses in this set! I especially like Merino because he can play multiple positions and really pushes the attack. Honestly, those SS and S-tier cards are great to have on the bench too, you don’t sacrifice much skill having them as backups.
