eFootball 2026 is getting another big update in October 2025 after a period of server maintenance. The latest changes focus on a new way to play called Link-Up, which was released with the Frank Rijkaard Manager pack. Plus, there are new Epic and Show Time player cards available to make matches even more exciting.

New Link-Up Playstyle: Over-the-Top Pass B
The latest update introduces his new Link-Up Play, Over-the-Top Pass B. It functions similarly to Over-the-Top Pass A, allowing the Key Player to move forward with more confidence when the Centrepiece player controls the ball in their own half. This improves the accuracy of passes, chipped balls, and trapping skills.
This style of play is well-suited for quick, offensive tactics and a strategy that relies on long passes. The core of the team is a Orchestrator CMF, and the most important player can function as a Prolific Winger at LWF or RWF, offering greater versatility in the attacking phase.
New Manager: Frank Rijkaard
This update adds Frank Rijkaard as a new Manager, using the Over-the-Top Pass B style. Similar to Fabio Capello, he costs 750 coins. He excels in Quick Counter and Out Wide, both at a rating of 89, and also receives +1 boosts to Tight Possession and Balance.
New Epic and Show Time Cards
This update includes new Epics and Show Time selections. Football legends like Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Mark van Bommel are featured, with Show Time skills including Momentum Dribbling and Acceleration Burst for Ronaldinho, and Phenomenal Pass for van Bommel.
The Show Time team features Rodri and Jérémy Doku, both fantastic choices. Rodri receives the Phenomenal Pass and Long-Range Tackle abilities, while Doku benefits from Momentum Dribbling – another great skill.
