Keep the excitement going, eFootball 2026 has released the Epic World Classics pack, offering a wave of nostalgia! This pack features legendary players like Gerd Müller, Gianfranco Zola, and Pelé, each bringing a unique attacking style to the game.
Two new players are entering the game, and Pelé is back with a fantastic card that’s different from his previous one. All these cards have high overall ratings, excellent stats, and the double Showtime feature. But are they worth the in-game currency? Here’s my take.
eFootball 2026 Epic World Classics players
Gerd Müller
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Fox In The Box
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Willpower
Thomas Müller consistently delivers exactly what you’d expect – he’s a classic poacher with exceptional instincts and quick acceleration. While not known for long-distance speed, he’s incredibly dangerous in the penalty area, with a devastating initial burst and clinical finishing ability that makes him a real threat.
He’s physically strong for a small forward. He has good balance, holds the ball well, and is surprisingly good in the air despite his height. He’s not afraid of physical challenges and can effectively win headers, meaning he offers more than just simple finishes.
The main problem isn’t Müller himself, but the ‘Fox in the Box’ (FITB) playstyle. Currently, most successful players use either fast forwards who run onto through balls, or center forwards who drop back to help build attacks. Since FITB relies on that second type of forward, Müller seems to struggle because his skillset doesn’t quite fit the current popular strategies.
He doesn’t have the same passing ability as a player like Puskás, who excels as a forward. He’ll score plenty of goals if you focus on getting him into scoring positions and build your attack around that. However, don’t rely on him to create chances for others; that’s not his strength.
Suggested Skills: Double Touch, Long Range Shooting, One Touch Pass, Fighting Spirit, Rising Shot
Suggested Booster(s): Breakthrough, Off the Ball

Gianfranco Zola
- Position: SS
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Show Time Skill: Blitz Curler and Momentum Dribbling
Zola was a joy to watch with the ball at his feet. He was incredibly smooth and controlled, able to make tight turns and quick touches with effortless agility. He offered a unique and refreshing feel on the ball, standing out from other skillful, agile players who can sometimes feel quite similar.
I noticed he tended to operate further up the field, almost like a classic attacking midfielder. It might just be my impression, but it’s definitely something to watch. Plus, his free kicks are a huge strength – the amount of curve and precision he gets is incredible.
Blitz Curlers are generally quite precise. Long-distance shots feel dependable, though he could benefit from a bit more power when kicking. While his passing could be better, I think he had enough opportunities to distribute the ball effectively.
He’s not physically strong, so you wouldn’t rely on him for strength-based plays. While his Fighting Spirit can be useful, his Gamesmanship skill has created some great free-kick opportunities for me. I primarily use him as a Support Striker to take advantage of his finishing ability and Blitz skill – it’s a very effective combination.
Suggested Skills: First Time Shot, Outside Curler, Sole Control, Pinpoint Crossing, Low Lofted Pass
Suggested Booster(s): Striker’s Instinct

Pelé
- Position: SS
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Momentum Dribbling
Honestly, any card featuring Pelé in this game is going to be excellent – you can confidently choose any version. Since this is the second Pelé card available, let’s compare them. This new card has almost the same stats as the previous one, meaning you’ll get the same top-quality performance.
The biggest change is how the player behaves on the field. The previous version favored staying back and supporting the attack, while this version is more focused on creating plays. This affects where he moves and how much he contributes to building up attacks. Also, instead of having great passing ability, the new version excels at dribbling with speed and control.
For this particular role, I think Phenomenal Passing is a better choice. While Momentum Dribbling is good, the improvement isn’t significant for a player who already handles the ball so well – Pelé already dribbles exceptionally. However, the added impact from improved passing would be fantastic, especially for a Creative Playmaker.
Okay, so this card is still seriously amazing – one of the best SS cards out there, hands down. It’s super fast, accelerates quickly, handles really well, and the shooting is top-notch. If you didn’t get the last version, you need to grab this one. But honestly, if you already have the old card, this isn’t a huge upgrade – it just feels and plays a little differently. It’s not a must-have if you’re already set.
Recommended skills include: shooting from a distance, quick passing, accurate crosses, determination, and excellent ball control.
Suggested Booster(s): Fantasista

Best pick from the Epic World Classics pack in eFootball 2026
These three Epic attackers are definitely top-tier choices for experienced players. Their stats are impressive, and they perform even better in-game. If you need a strong attacker, it’s worth spending your resources on these.
Is this a perfect pack, deserving a 5/5 rating? Not quite. It’s not my fault – I actually really like the cards themselves! The problem is the current gameplay focuses heavily on repeatedly using the ‘Through Ball’ tactic with either Center Backs or Hole Player Strikers against double Goal Poacher formations. Unfortunately, these cards don’t really fit into that popular strategy.
If you’re up for trying new things and don’t mind a few setbacks while you practice dribbling and enjoying these cards as they’re designed to be played, don’t hesitate to jump in!
Here’s my final cards tier list and pack rating.
