The latest update to eFootball 2026 brings a new Epic pack focused on attacking midfielders! The National Midfielders pack includes legendary players like Francesco Totti, Michel Platini, and Tomáš Rosický.

These three players all seem like good choices, but it might be tricky to play them all since you can usually only start two AMFs to maintain a balanced team. Still, let’s take a look at who I think deserves a chance.

Francesco Totti

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Low Screamer

Totti immediately feels like a well-rounded, classic attacking midfielder – a player who needs no introduction. He has a great physique and ten of his stats are above 90, making this one of his strongest cards statistically. Looking at the numbers, this card perfectly embodies what you’d expect from a Totti player.

He has excellent ball control and keeps possession cleanly. His shooting is strong enough to justify the ‘Phenomenal Finishing’ skill. However, ‘Felt Low Screamer’ didn’t work well for him – skills like ‘Phenomenal Pass’ or ‘Momentum Dribbling’ would have been a better fit.

As a fan, I’m really impressed with his passing! It’s not flashy, but it’s super solid and connects the midfield to our attackers really well. He’s smart with his runs too – he doesn’t just constantly bomb forward, but finds those little spaces to deliver the key pass. It’s more about intelligent playmaking than trying to be a second striker, which I love.

Adding him to the team gives us a dynamic player who can change the course of a game when brought on late. He’s versatile, capable of playing center forward, secondary striker, or attacking midfield, but I believe he’d be most effective as a secondary striker, where his performance really shines in crucial moments.

Michel Platini

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Visionary Pass

Hole Player Platini is a fantastic player to add to your team. Compared to last year’s version, he’s received both skill upgrades and improved stats. He truly excels at dribbling – his excellent first touch, close control, and ability to hold onto the ball make him incredibly smooth on the field.

My player is even better than Totti in several key areas – I have twelve stats rated over 90, which is exceptional. The Momentum Dribbling skill feels just as good as his, and it lets me simplify my dribbling style. Plus, having Visionary Pass makes me a really creative attacker.

What stands out about this card is that Platini plays more like a playmaker who capitalizes on openings rather than a typical attacking player. While he’s designed as a ‘Hole Player,’ most players in that position prioritize making runs. Platini is versatile, capable of shooting, passing, or dribbling as needed.

Being able to use both feet equally well is a major advantage. He’s versatile enough to play either shortstop or a middle infield position, but I think he’s better suited for shortstop. His long-range shooting isn’t a strength, though.

Tomáš Rosický

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass

Rosicky is a surprisingly good choice, and this card improves his stats nicely. He excels at ball control and keeping possession, and his dribbling allows him to quickly change direction and create opportunities.

Hole Player suits his style perfectly – he consistently makes well-timed runs and excels at dribbling in close quarters. He’s also a good fit for Phenomenal Pass, as he already consistently delivers accurate through balls.

He’s a solid player, but with so many similar options available, he doesn’t offer a significant improvement over what we already have.

Verdict on the eFootball 2026 National Midfielders players

I think all three players are solid choices, but the first two are particularly strong for the late game, and could have been even better with the Show Time skills. It would have been nice to see players for all positions in this pack, as spending coins on just one AMF player doesn’t feel like a good value.
