Man, the pack drops in eFootball 2026 are still coming fast and furious! This time, KONAMI is focusing on some seriously awesome Iconic National Attackers. These cards have always been strong, and they can really cause problems for defenders. What’s cool is some of these players now have a ‘Playstyle Change,’ which is gonna totally shake up how they play on the field.
The updated roster offers a fresh experience with Zico, Diego Forlán, and Marco Reus each having unique roles, abilities, and playing styles. Marco Reus is back after a year, joining Zico, who has been enhanced with a special ‘Show Time’ skill. Let’s explore what each player brings to the game.
eFootball 2026 Epic National Attackers
Zico
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Show Time Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Blitz Curler
This Zico card is arguably his strongest release yet, boasting fantastic Show Time skills. His already impressive dribbling feels even more refined, making him a top-tier Attacking Midfielder in the game.

The Blitz Curler is a powerful player who excels at bending shots into the net from distance. This ability is particularly useful in today’s game, as Creative Playmakers can score impressive goals from outside the box. He also fits well into popular link-up formations, and his strong weak foot makes him a reliable finisher.
It took a few tries on my secondary account to get him, but he looks like he’ll be one of the best attacking midfielders in the game, joining legends like Messi, Sneijder, and Uli Hoeneß.
Diego Forlán
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing
Forlán was previously available in the Legends Assemble Epic Cards Selection earlier this year, offered to fans for free through a special contract. While this new version of Forlán appears improved, it’s still not worth spending significant in-game currency on.

The latest version of Show Time features a new skill called Phenomenal Finishing, which wasn’t available in the Legends version. It also improves Kicking Power stats. While Forlán always had good kicking and finishing abilities, this new skill elevates them to an even higher level.
He’s gotten better at dribbling closely and maintaining his balance, making him feel smooth even in crowded areas. His strength isn’t amazing – it’s similar to his Epic Legends card – so adding a few points to his Physical Contact stat could be helpful. However, this isn’t a major weakness and shouldn’t discourage you from choosing him.
While he’s known as a top goal scorer, this particular card isn’t a game-changer. If this version had two special skills instead of just one, I’d highly recommend it. For players who need a strong striker, Forlán is a good option. However, with so many excellent strikers already available in the game—and many obtainable for free—it’s hard to say he’s a must-have.
Marco Reus
- Position: LMF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Acceleration Burst
Marco Reus has received a new skill called Phenomenal Finishing Show Time, which should make him a more reliable goal scorer. This, combined with the growing popularity of formations like LMF and RMF that focus on teamwork, means Reus could be a valuable player in those setups.

This card is a solid addition to the Epic League and Moments Flashbacks in the game, but it isn’t quite as strong as top cards like Hazard or Nedved. While its Speed and Finishing stats aren’t amazing, the card’s combination of Phenomenal Finishing and Acceleration Burst makes it a really good option, especially for this new Reus version.
Ultimately, I believe fans of Germany and Reus will enjoy this version of the player, as it’s likely to be the best representation of him in the game for a while. However, it probably won’t be as strong as the top left midfielders or wingers currently available.
Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Epic National Attackers
This pack of attackers is really strong, with Zico standing out as a potentially top-tier, late-game player. Forlán and Reus are also solid additions, and all three offer unique strengths, making them likely starters for many different team styles.
Whether this pack is worth it really depends on what kind of players your team needs in the Attacking Midfielder (AMF) and Center Forward (CF) positions. I don’t particularly like the players included, and if you’re looking for a strong Creative Playmaker AMF and a reliable Goal Poacher CF, I’d recommend players like Zico and Forlán instead.
Pack Rating: 3.5 out of 5
