eFootball 2026 Epic J League (Iniesta, Torres) pack review: Two super-sub legends

We’ve seen some amazing packs in eFootball 2026, including those with incredibly high-rated cards reaching 108 or 109. Right now, there’s a particularly interesting pack available called the Epic J League. What makes it special is that it features two legendary players: Andres Iniesta and Fernando Torres.

I don’t plan on getting these cards myself, as I don’t think they’d fit my playstyle. However, the cards themselves aren’t bad at all – both characters have two useful ‘Show Time’ abilities, and their stats look pretty good. So, is it worth trying to get them? Here’s my detailed review to help you decide.

eFootball 2026 Epic J League players

Andres Iniesta

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Pass and Visionary Pass

The Iniesta card is fairly standard, and his strengths haven’t changed. The game’s automatic build suggests playing him as a central midfield player (CMF), but he actually performs much better as an attacking midfielder (AMF) or in a slightly wider midfield position. His playstyle holds him back a bit from being a top-tier AMF, but that can be worked around.

He performs exactly as you’d hope. He’s great at keeping possession and staying balanced, making it easy to turn quickly and get away from defenders. With skills like Phenomenal Pass and Visionary Pass, he’s one of the best passers in the game.

Don’t worry about his finishing ability. While he can score sometimes, his main job is to create plays and control the game. He isn’t particularly fast, so don’t rely on him making runs in behind. Instead, use him to unlock defenses, create space for others, and generate scoring opportunities.

Fernando Torres

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Target Man
  • Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Bullet Header

This Showtime card is definitely one of the strangest I’ve come across, mostly because of its focus on the Target Man playstyle. It’s unusual to see that style applied to an Epic-level striker. I don’t think we’ve had many Epic cards with this type of player role, maybe just Koller and Giroud previously.

Despite any drawbacks, his core stats are quite impressive. He excels in finishing, speed, and kicking power, suggesting he has the potential to be a top-tier striker. The inclusion of skills like Phenomenal Finishing and Bullet Header is a significant boost.

Okay, so when it comes to heading, he’s decent – not amazing, but definitely not bad. The Bullet Header trait really helps him out! He won’t win every aerial battle against those super tall strikers everyone uses, because his heading stats aren’t quite top-tier. But if you like to cross the ball sometimes, he’ll be effective enough and get on the end of them. I think he’s a solid option if you build your attack around crosses!

He’s fairly good at dribbling and moving with the ball, so he doesn’t feel awkward. However, his playstyle focuses on holding the ball and connecting passes with teammates, rather than making frequent, direct runs towards the goal. This approach might not appeal to players who prefer a more aggressive striker. That’s where this player card feels a little different from the most popular, effective striker options.

Suggested Skills: One Touch Pass, Fighting Spirit, Long Range Shooting, Double Touch, Super Sub

Suggested Booster(s): Striker’s Instinct, Off the Ball
