Romario

  • Position: CF

Romário is a player card that instantly feels amazing in a game – you don’t even need to look at his stats. Veteran eFootball players will agree: once Romário gets near the goal, it’s almost certain the opposing team won’t be able to stop him.

I still have this Iconic Moment turned Legendary card, and he’s a fantastic player to add to my team. The recent Show Time updates and stat boosts have made him even more effective. He’s a quick, incredibly precise striker with fast movement, great close control, and a trademark toe-poke finish.

I gave him a few run-outs, and he really seems perfect for the current style of play. Things are chaotic defensively, with lots of desperate tackles, and Romário just glides right through the smallest openings with ease.

I noticed something curious about his game. While he’s technically a ‘Goal Poacher’ type of striker, he often plays more like a ‘Fast Into The Box’ forward. It’s strange because he doesn’t make as many runs as you’d expect. Despite that, he’s quickly become my favorite striker – he has a knack for scoring unexpected goals.

Ronald Koeman

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Destroyer
  • Showtime Skill: Fortress and Low Screamer

This player has generated a lot of discussion, and my first impression was that he’s a powerful, assertive tackler. What I liked most, though, was how technically sound he is – his tackling form is very clean.

Many defenders in eFootball, especially those of the ‘Destroyer’ type, can feel slow and unresponsive. However, Koeman stands out – he reacts quickly to passes and moves with impressive agility. Honestly, he’s been the smoothest defender I’ve used so far, but beyond that, some issues start to become noticeable.

His main weakness is that he doesn’t quite fit neatly into either a defensive or midfield role – his abilities are spread too thin, and he isn’t exceptional at either position. That said, I think he’d be most effective playing as a defensive midfielder, but it would be helpful to also develop his aerial ability so he could fill in at center-back if needed.

Pep Guardiola

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass

Pep is an exceptionally calm and reliable defensive midfielder. He’s very easy to control in the game, so you don’t have to worry much about his positioning. What really stands out is how natural he feels with the ball – his touches are fluid, he can turn quickly in tight spaces, and he holds onto possession well even under pressure.

Okay, so I’ve been using the Visionary Pass for my Defensive Midfielder, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer, especially with Fabio Capello in the lineup. My striker is always finding space and getting that crucial edge. He’s not a super aggressive tackler, but his positioning is just brilliant. He seems to know exactly where to be, intercepts passes like it’s nothing, and goes in for tackles cleanly. Seriously, he reads the play better than most DMFs I’ve used!

Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Epic FC Barcelona players

As a Barcelona fan, I knew I had to get this pack. I was impressed with Koeman – I thought he’d be a solid defensive midfielder and a strong player overall. It’s a shame he doesn’t have many skills, though. Romario is always great, and Guardiola is a really good midfielder, so the pack offers good value for the money.
