Romario

  • Position: CF

Romário is a player card that instantly feels amazing in a game – you don’t even need to look at his stats. Veteran eFootball players will agree: once Romário gets into the penalty area, it’s almost guaranteed he’ll score.

I still have this Iconic Moment turned Legendary card, and he’s a fantastic player to add to my team. The recent Show Time additions and stat boosts have made him even more impactful. He’s a quick and incredibly precise striker with fast movement, excellent close control, and a trademark toe-poke finish.

I gave him a chance in a few games, and he really seems perfectly suited to the current style of play. Things are chaotic defensively, with a lot of desperate challenges, and he just effortlessly weaves through the smallest openings – it’s like he’s born for this kind of game.

I noticed something curious about his gameplay. While he’s technically a ‘Goal Poacher,’ he seems to play more like a ‘Fast Into The Box’ forward. He doesn’t make runs as often as you’d expect, which is a bit odd. Despite that, he’s quickly become my favorite striker – he has a knack for scoring unexpected goals.

Ronald Koeman

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Destroyer
  • Showtime Skill: Fortress and Low Screamer

This player has generated a lot of discussion. First impressions suggest he’s a powerful, assertive tackler, and what stands out most is his technically sound and clean style of play.

Many defenders in eFootball, especially those of the ‘Destroyer’ type, can feel slow and unresponsive. However, Koeman stands out – he reacts quickly to passes and moves with a noticeable sharpness. Honestly, he’s been the smoothest defender I’ve used so far. But beyond that smoothness, other issues start to become apparent.

His biggest weakness is that he doesn’t quite fit neatly into any single position – he’s not a natural defender or midfielder. While he has a variety of skills, he doesn’t excel in either role. I think his best position would be as a defensive midfielder, but it would be helpful to also improve his aerial ability so he could fill in at center-back if needed.

Pep Guardiola

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass

Pep is an exceptionally calm and reliable defensive midfielder. He’s very easy to control in the game, so you don’t have to worry much about his positioning. What really sets him apart is how natural he feels with the ball – his touches are fluid, he turns quickly, and he holds onto possession well even under pressure.

Having Fabio Capello as a Defensive Midfielder has been a huge benefit. He consistently gives your striker an edge. While he’s not known for aggressive tackling, he’s incredibly smart about positioning, cleanly winning challenges and anticipating passes – he reads the game better than many other defensive midfielders.

Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Epic FC Barcelona players

As a huge Barca fan, I absolutely had to get this pack! I was really impressed with Koeman – I always thought he was a solid defensive midfielder, and his card feels really strong. It’s a shame he doesn’t have a ton of skills, though. Romario is just Romario, always amazing, and Guardiola is a fantastic ground-based defensive midfielder too. Overall, I think this pack is definitely worth it!
