eFootball 2026 introduces a new gameplay feature called ‘Manager Link-Up Playstyle,’ along with the ‘Diagonal Long Pass B’ tactic. Right after its release, a pack of player cards became available. While 200-player packs can be unpredictable, this one includes some highly sought-after players and cards that are great for building a strong team.
This review covers four player cards: Franck Ribéry and Bukayo Saka as wingers who excel at creating plays, and Philipp Lahm and Riccardo Calafiori as fullbacks. I’ll be sharing my opinion on whether these cards are worth the investment.
eFootball 2026 Epic and Show Time Diagonal Long Pass B
Franck Ribéry
- Position: LWF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Acceleration Burst
Even before looking at Franck Ribery’s stats, I expected his card to be special. He’s a player who always moves naturally in the game, and this version is no different. His dribbling is incredibly smooth – it feels like the ball is stuck to his feet – and his quick turns make him a real threat.

I primarily used him as a left winger, and even with a crossing-focused style, he frequently cuts inside to curl shots on goal. His passing is solid, allowing him to connect well with attackers. Plus, his strong skill moves make him dangerous in one-on-one situations against defenders.
While he’s skilled with flair, he’s also remarkably resilient and hard to knock off the ball, despite not being physically imposing. Don’t let his size deceive you – he has excellent balance and control, making it difficult for opponents to take possession. I believe his best position remains as an attacking midfielder.
Bukayo Saka
- Position: RWF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Showtime Skill: Edged Crossing and Blitz Curler
The first thing I noticed about Saka’s card was how instantly responsive it felt. He’s incredibly fast, but what really sets him apart is his agility while dribbling. Each touch of the ball feels precise and deliberate, and combined with his strong left foot, he’s a dangerous player on the wing.

He’s effective on the right wing or as an attacking midfielder. His ‘Blitz Curler’ skill is fantastic for taking finesse shots from around the edge of the penalty area, and his crosses are accurate. To get the most out of him, though, you’ll want to increase his passing stats.
I really wanted to play him as an attacking midfielder at AMF, but the in-game position boosters kept forcing him into the center forward role, and honestly, it didn’t work out well. Still, as an Arsenal fan, I think he’s a pretty good signing overall. He can be absolutely devastating if you know how to use his strengths as a striker though!
Philipp Lahm
- Position: RB
- Playing Style: Offensive Fullback
- Showtime Skill: Edged Crossing and Long-Reach Tackle
Even before looking at its stats, I could tell this Philipp Lahm card was going to be great – it is Lahm, after all. I’ve always preferred fullbacks who are calm and collected over those who are just incredibly fast, and this card captures that quality perfectly.

I couldn’t add him to my team, but seeing how he played against my friend in Co-op showed me exactly what this card is capable of. He’s a fantastic defender and consistently wins one-on-one challenges, proving just how good his stats are.
This player is a great tackler – arguably the best at his position – and his Edged Crossing skill is a valuable bonus. I’m also impressed by his stamina. While his Long Reach Tackle wasn’t particularly noticeable, he’s consistently solid on defense.
Riccardo Calafiori
- Position: LB
- Playing Style: Offensive Fullback
- Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass
Calafiori isn’t a player everyone goes after, but his stats are actually very strong. He’s a popular choice for a defender, and I was surprised by how solid he felt in my team. After using him, I understand why so many people recommend him.

He’s a really valuable passer. You’ll quickly see how precise his long passes are when he switches the ball to the other side of the field, and he stays calm even when rushed. Even playing as an attacking fullback, he’s smart defensively – he doesn’t overcommit and knows when to hold his position.
I think he’d be a great addition to the DMF team, considering his stats and ‘Show Time’ ability. We just need to train him in the right position and plan his development accordingly, and that’s a compelling reason to bring him on.
Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Diagonal Long Pass B players
This team feels really well-rounded. Each player brings unique skills, and the team plays well together. Lahm is particularly impressive, with Ribery not far behind. If you can get both of them, you’ve got a fantastic base to work with.
