eFootball 2026 Epic and Show Time Breakthrough Pass A pack review

eFootball 2026 is introducing a new ‘Link-Up Playstyle’ along with a new Epic and Show Time player pack. While new packs are common in the game, this one seems particularly strong, offering four excellent Epic and Show Time players with the debut of the Breakthrough Pass A pack.

Our Epic selections feature Kaká and Andriy Shevchenko in their iconic Milan kits, while Kylian Mbappé and Arda Guler from Real Madrid showcase their incredible skills as part of our Show Time series.

eFootball 2026 Epic and Show Time Breakthrough Pass A players

Kaká

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Phenomenal Pass

Kaká is likely the most exciting card in the pack. He’s a fast-paced, attacking midfielder who excels at dribbling and setting up scoring opportunities. What really sets him apart is his ability to quickly transition from having the ball to launching attacks, and his card reflects that speed.

This AMF card is a top performer, boasting excellent dribbling, speed, and strength. After playing several games with a friend’s Kaka card, I believe he could be the ideal creative playmaker many players are searching for.

I haven’t had a chance to test Xabi Alonso as a manager in the game yet, but his skills clearly translate to creating lots of opportunities for goals through excellent dribbling and passing. This player also has a fantastic ‘Show Time’ skill set, so it seems like the developers really nailed this card in every way.

Andriy Shevchenko

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Acceleration Burst

Okay, so I totally spent all my in-game currency trying to get this card, and I missed out! Of course, my friend pulled him. But after playing with it for a couple of days, let me tell you, when someone does get this card and knows how to use him, he’s easily the best CF in the game. Seriously, he’s a game-changer.

Some might think this is an exaggeration, or doesn’t quite add up, but here’s my reasoning. Beyond simply being able to pass, this player doesn’t seem to have any real flaws. The addition of the Acceleration Burst skill has made him even faster, and it’s proving incredibly difficult for defenders to keep up, as it’s unpredictable.

Okay, so this guy is a finishing machine – already a great shooter, but this takes it to another level. I never have trouble getting shots off with him. He’s solid in the air too, and honestly, defenders just bounce off him when he’s going for the ball. His runs are insane – the speed and acceleration stats don’t even do them justice. Plus, he can use his weak foot really well, which is a huge bonus!

To maximize this card’s potential, focus on developing key skills such as One Touch Pass, Double Touch, Aerial Superiority, and Sole Control. Mastering these will make it truly exceptional.

Kylian Mbappe

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Goal Poacher
  • Showtime Skill: Blitz Curler and Willpower

This Mbappe card is generating a lot of excitement, and it’s a significant improvement over his previous ‘Spanish League Season’s Best’ version. The upgrade isn’t just about better stats – he also has two unique ‘Show Time’ skills. Despite all the improvements, he’s still a very fast and agile striker.

He’s incredibly fast, easily running past defenders. This card also significantly improves his finishing ability. This allows you to effectively use his Willpower ST skill and then focus on improving his dribbling, making him even better at carrying the ball – something the automatic team build doesn’t fully address.

I’ve been using Blitz Curlers less often lately because they’re unreliable and sometimes just don’t work. This Mbappe card would really shine with the Phenomenal Finishing trait, but I suspect that trait will be released for future cards.

Arda Guler

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
  • Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass

While not the strongest of the four, this is still a very good card for the AMF position. It excels in ball control, keeping possession, and accurate passing, and many players enjoyed using this player in the game, so you’re likely to have a lot of fun with it.

He’s definitely capable of dealing damage, but his attacks sometimes felt weak and weren’t very reliable, even after I tried different setups. His physical defense is a real problem – he gets pushed around easily, and it’s hard to protect him. He’s okay to have on the team, but probably isn’t strong enough to be a primary pick.

Best pick from the Epic and Show Time Breakthrough Pass A pack in eFootball 2026

This pack definitely includes three exceptionally strong players, and a fourth solid option. If you’re hoping to find top-tier strikers, it’s worth spending some coins, and right now, Kaka stands out as the best Creative Playmaker you can get.

Here’s my final cards tier list and pack rating.
