A new gameplay style called Link-up Playstyle has been introduced, and to celebrate, eFootball 2026 is releasing a special 200-player pack called Epic and Show Time 1-2 Cut-in A. This pack includes top players like Ruud Gullit and Pavel Nedvěd (Epic), and Viktor Gyökeres and Jamal Musiala (Show Time).
This set of cards is intriguing because of the unique combination of players and their diverse abilities. We’ll be looking at how strong each card is on its own, the best ways to build a deck around them, and ultimately, whether it’s worth collecting them or if you can safely skip this release.
eFootball 2026 Epic and Show Time 1-2 Cut-in A players
Ruud Gullit
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Fox in The Box
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Magnetic Feet
KONAMI is constantly updating Ruud Gullit’s player type in the game. He’s been reimagined as a Creative Playmaker, a Deep Lying Forward, an AC Milan Hole Player, a Classic No. 10, and now a Fox in the Box. It wouldn’t be surprising if they made him a Goal Poacher next – it’s likely that version would be very strong.
His stats remain impressive, which is typical for a Gullit card. He’s physically imposing, reasonably quick, and a good finisher – making him tough to play against. What’s particularly exciting is the ‘Magnetic Feet’ trait. This should improve his ball control, an area where previous Gullit cards sometimes felt a little clumsy.
This version of the player emphasizes keeping control of the ball and shielding it from opponents, unlike the Bullet Header version which focuses more on aerial ability. However, beyond that change, it doesn’t offer significant improvements. Its shooting and stamina aren’t as strong, which limits how aggressively you can play with him.
Gullit’s ‘Hole Player’ card makes him even more useful because he’s the type of player who can effectively play in any position. While he’s a bit more skilled with the ball on this card, it doesn’t necessarily make him a significantly better player overall.

Pavel Nedvěd
- Position: LMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Pass and Low Screamer
Nedvěd cards are consistently excellent, and this one lives up to that reputation. His Hole Player AMF version is already a top performer in the game, so there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding this new card as well.
He’s consistently dependable and always ready to play. His strong passing is exactly what we need in this position, and he’s a solid dribbler. Importantly, he has the endurance to play the entire game – that’s always been a key strength. He’s someone you can build attacks through or rely on to move the ball forward.
Giving him the Creative Playmaker role provides more freedom, particularly when positioned in the center of the field with the Link-up play style. This complements the Low Screamer trait nicely, as it allows him opportunities to take shots from further out.
However, the Hole Player version feels more aggressive and imposing. Its attack stats are in the upper 80s to low 90s – solid, but not exceptional compared to other cards. Because of this, I think it will likely perform better than its stats suggest, regardless of the situation.

Viktor Gyökeres

Gyökeres appears to be a promising player based on his attributes. He’s a tall and physically strong striker with good speed and a knack for finishing. He tends to run directly at defenders, using his strength to hold them off and then score. He’s a straightforward, powerful attacker.
He’s not a particularly skilled dribbler, and it likely won’t feel natural given his size, so it’s best not to ask him to carry the ball often. His heading isn’t as strong as you might think for someone his build, so avoid relying heavily on crosses.
Recommended abilities include: quick ball control (Double Touch), heading, winning aerial duels (Aerial Superiority), shooting from distance (Long Range Shooting), and finishing moves with flair (Acrobatic Finishing).

Jamal Musiala

Jamal Musiala is a natural dribbler – he’s incredibly balanced, has excellent ball control, and with the Momentum Dribbling feature, he’s the kind of player you want with the ball at his feet. However, I’ve noticed that his movements in the game sometimes feel a little unnatural.
Players with longer legs might find controlling the ball a little trickier than those with shorter strides, leading to less fluid dribbling. However, he’s a good passer, allowing him to create scoring opportunities after attracting defenders’ attention.
Honestly, playing with this card has been a bit frustrating. His weak foot isn’t great, and he gets pushed around way too easily by defenders – he just doesn’t have the strength to hold his own. He can finish sometimes, but I wouldn’t rely on him to score every time, you know? And the biggest letdown? No club links at all. That really hurts his potential in my team.
