The latest update to eFootball 2026’s Nominating Contracts arrives in December 2025 with the ‘Clutch Players’ selection. While building a strong team is exciting, deciding which players to choose can be tricky. Here’s my breakdown and ranking of the players who deserve a contract.

Leandro Trossard
- Position: LWF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
Although Trossard is classified as a Left Wing Forward, his playstyle doesn’t really match a typical winger. He prefers to move centrally, hold onto the ball, and connect passes, making the ‘Creative Playmaker’ style less effective when he’s out wide.
He’s well-balanced and in control, which makes him reliable. His speed is around 90, and he accelerates quickly too. His passing and shooting are solid, making him a generally useful player.
Gonçalo Ramos
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
This card isn’t particularly outstanding, but it’s still enjoyable to use. It’s best played centrally, making runs into the box and finishing scoring opportunities. While the player’s movement in the box feels solid, I sometimes find it difficult to hold onto the ball for long.
This card doesn’t handle as smoothly as other cards I’ve used from this player. While he finishes well, he doesn’t feel particularly strong. He’s not a showy or top-tier player, but he’s reliable if you understand his strengths.
Harry Maguire
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
Harry Maguire is a traditional center-back. He’s physically strong, excels at winning aerial battles, and prefers to maintain a solid defensive structure. He’s particularly effective against strong, physical attackers, proving hard to push around.
He’s strong at reading the game and stepping in to defend, particularly when the defensive line sits a bit deeper. His main weakness is a lack of speed, meaning he could struggle against fast attackers and needs support from teammates. However, the current trend in football seems to be moving away from relying solely on pace, which could actually benefit his style of play.
Ángel Correa
- Position: RWF
- Playing Style: Roaming Flank
This player is another fast, skillful winger – the type you often see. Their stats can reach up to 90 depending on how you build your team. I haven’t played with Correa myself, but he seems like a straightforward player: good at dribbling and making quick runs, but not much else.
Federico Chiesa
- Position: LWF
- Playing Style: Prolific Winger
He’s a classic winger, and his stats are comparable to Correa’s. Based on past versions of this card, he’s a skilled dribbler with excellent ball control. The fact that he favors his stronger foot also makes him a reliable player to use.
Davide Frattesi
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
As a fan, I’ve been watching Frattesi, and he really seems like that classic, hard-working midfielder – the stats definitely back that up. What stands out most is his incredible work rate and stamina. He’s pretty good at passing as a central midfielder, but honestly, I think he’d shine even more if played as an attacking midfielder. Still, I don’t think he’s quite strong enough to be a top pick right now.
James Milner
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Box To Box
Milner’s card focuses on being reliably useful. It doesn’t have any standout features, but he’s solid at the basics and a good option for squad rotation. He can’t play a full 90 minutes like he used to, but he excels at passing and keeping possession.
Roony Bardghji
- Position: RWF
- Playing Style: Prolific Winger
Bardghji shows a lot of promise as a winger still developing his skills. He’s strong technically, and that’s his biggest strength right now. He’s exciting to watch with his dribbling, and he’s also very fast.
He can sometimes have trouble with physically imposing defenders, which is understandable given his size. However, considering he was a 4-Star recruit, I think he offers excellent value.
