eFootball 2026 has been updated with new features, and there’s a lot to cover, particularly for those of us playing the free-to-play version. The game now includes a new style for the Link-up system, as well as a brand new Manager. We’ve put together a complete breakdown of everything included in this update.

Brazil and England National Team Campaign
This campaign is definitely one to watch. The great thing is everyone gets a free Show Time card, and every card guarantees a win – there are no losing entries! I think a lot of people will be actively trying to win.
Getting a Selection Contract in Campaign Hub is straightforward. Just complete the milestones provided, and once you have the contract, you’ll be able to sign one of four players: Bernardo Silva, Marquinhos, Andy Robertson, or Jordan Henderson.
Playing the campaign offers more than just story progression. You can also earn Selection Contracts for special cards, plus 100 eFootball Coins, as well as GP and XP.
New Link-Up: Diagonal Long Pass B
Just like the Diagonal Pass A play, when your Creative Playmaker receives the ball in the midfield, they should immediately run forward to create space. Simultaneously, pass the ball out wide to a teammate.
This strategy focuses on a creative player in the wing positions as the main focus, with an attacking full-back as your key player. Just keep in mind that if you place the main focus player on the left wing, your key full-back should be the right-back.
New Manager: Pep Guardiola 13-14
A new update adds Pep Guardiola as a Bayern Munich manager, featuring his unique Link-up style. He costs 750 coins and excels in Possession Game and Out Wide, both at an 89 rating. He also receives boosts to his Kicking Power and Aggression.
New Epic cards arrive
Every Thursday, new Epic cards are released, and this week is no exception! We’ve got some fantastic additions, including Epic versions of Franck Ribéry and Philipp Lahm, plus Show Time cards featuring Bukayo Saka and Riccardo Calafiori.
National Legends
A new card pack, National Legends, is now available in the game. It’s a great deal because you get two Epic cards for just 900 coins. Here’s how it works: spending 900 coins will give you a random Legend card.
After completing this, you’ll receive a large amount of experience points – 40,000! You’ll also get a Selection Contract, letting you choose any player from the current pack for free. This is especially helpful for players who don’t spend money on the game. If you’d rather buy a player, the shop will offer a legendary player from your region – in my case, it’s Sunil Chettri.
