eFootball 2026 is adding some exciting new players, including legendary figures and special ‘Big Time’ cards, alongside updated classic cards. This latest pack features standout ‘Big Time’ and ‘Epic’ versions of Manchester United players, which are sure to be popular with fans.
George Best is now available in eFootball 2026, and along with Bryan Robson and Peter Schmeichel, these players look really good. I’m going to share my thoughts and help you decide if it’s worth trying to get them in the game.
eFootball 2026 Big Time and Epic Manchester United players
George Best
- Position: LWF
- Playing Style: Prolific Winger
- Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Phenomenal Pass
Okay, so I just got George Best, and wow, this card feels exactly like those super rare Encara Messi cards. Seriously, the stats are almost identical – amazing ball control, dribbling, he holds onto the ball like glue, and his acceleration is top-tier. Plus, he’s surprisingly strong for a winger, too!
The biggest difference between these two cards is their special ability: Best has Phenomenal Pass instead of Blitz Curler. Both abilities are great. As a high-level card, Best has incredible stats and an overall rating of 109, making him one of the top three highest-rated players in the game.

I know there’s been a lot of talk about how he stacks up, but let’s talk about how he actually plays. His dribbling is fantastic – it’s comparable to Messi, even though I didn’t focus on improving that skill. He’s incredibly fast and finishes well, though I wish his shots had a bit more power.
This player is best suited for a winger role, so that’s where you should use him. I’ve seen people try him as a center forward or striker, and while it’s possible, it’s not ideal. He can play those positions, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Some players feel wingers aren’t currently the most effective strategy, but cards like this one are more about enjoying the game than strictly following the strongest tactics. Equip him with One Touch Pass, First Time Shooting, Through Passing, and any shooting skill you like – Rising Shot is a good option – then fill the last slot with a skill of your choosing.
Bryan Robson
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Box-to-Box
- Showtime Skill: Blitz Curler and Visionary Pass
I used to rely on Captain Marvel’s Iconic Moment card in PES – he was just so enjoyable and dependable. This new Box-to-Box version aims to capture that same energy and all-around midfield presence, but it’s a bit different from his playmaking style in his other cards.
He’s a very well-rounded player with a good balance of skills. He passes well, can dribble effectively, has plenty of energy, and works hard defensively, making him able to impact the game all over the field. He doesn’t make spectacular plays, but he consistently covers ground and remains a key part of the action for the entire match.

Okay, so I’ve been using Visionary Pass, and his ability really shines when you set him up with good passes – definitely focus on that! Honestly, though, he didn’t need the Blitz Curler. I’ve been trying to pull it off consistently, but it’s tough. His finishing and curl just aren’t strong enough to make it a go-to scoring move, which is a bit of a bummer.
Despite any perceived flaws, this is a remarkably well-rounded and capable player who excels in many areas without being pigeonholed into a single position. Don’t let the ratings discourage you – this player will consistently perform and contribute all over the field.
Peter Schmeichel
- Position: GK
- Playing Style: Defensive Goalkeeper
- Showtime Skill: None
Schmeichel is a consistently reliable goalkeeper, and this new card appears to be a top-tier choice right away. It’s statistically his strongest version yet. He’s always stood out as a particularly proactive and powerful goalkeeper, making him a consistently strong player.

He’s a strong presence in the air thanks to his height and jumping ability, and he’s expected to be a dependable goalkeeper against all types of shots. It’s worth mentioning his in-game identification number has been slightly adjusted in recent updates, resulting in some minor reductions to his overall stats.
Despite those minor issues, his performance statistics are excellent, making it difficult to criticize him. He’s expected to remain consistently reliable, and many players will likely consider this his definitive card for the foreseeable future. It would have been great if he also had a GK Show Time skill, though.
Best pick from the Big Time and Epic Manchester United players pack in eFootball 2026
George Best and Peter Schmeichel are definitely the cards to go for. They’re currently the highest-rated players in their positions, and Schmeichel is widely considered one of the best goalkeepers of all time – easily a top three player at his position.
I recommend getting this pack – you won’t regret it. Definitely try to get the 500 coin discount so you can open at least one, and maybe you’ll get lucky!
Here’s my final cards tier list and pack rating.
