In the brand new eFootball 2026, a multitude of packs have been introduced to launch the fresh season, making it quite exciting for us players to dive into the latest version. Needless to say, the much-anticipated Nominating Contract in eFootball 2026 is what we’ve all been waiting for, and the new one released this August 2025 is called “Back on the Field“.
Highlighting athletes coming back from last season’s injuries, this squad aims to begin the NC roster with a powerful impact. Here’s my analysis of the players, along with rankings and recommendations for the final selections:
To make it more concise:
This returning-injury squad seeks a strong start in the NC lineup. Below is my player review, verdict, and selection suggestions ranked.
eFootball 2026 ‘Back in the Game’ August 2025 NC players listed
Rodri
- Position: DMF
- Playstyle: Anchor Man
As a gamer, scoring a free Rodri card feels like hitting the jackpot! This guy’s a hidden gem – his sharp interceptions and smart positioning can slice through any opposing play with ease. With his defensive prowess, he practically transforms into a fortress, standing tall to protect my backline. What a steal indeed!

In simpler terms, his ability to pass effectively and maintain the flow of the game, even without relying on excessive speed, is commendable. Despite not having exceptional quickness, he compensates with his defensive skills. It’s crucial that he excels in tackling and heading abilities in this situation.
It’s worth noting that when I compared it to the well-known Tchouameni card from the previous season’s match pass, Rodri didn’t appear to be an improvement. Consequently, that unique NC card remains exceptional in its own right.
Éder Militão
- Position: CB
- Playstyle: Build Up
This other card is another fantastic option at no cost. Militao’s impressive player ID underscores his stellar performances dating back to eFootball times. I’ve been using his standard card for quite some time, and each one of his cards outperforms it remarkably. It seems this particular version represents a notable improvement as well.

His defensive stats are top-notch and highly useful in the current game environment, plus he has decent speed statistics when built over 85. His acceleration could use some improvement, but it may present challenges when dealing with the through ball strategy. Fortunately, he doesn’t have any notable weaknesses in aerial situations.
Paulo Dybala
- Position: SS
- Playstyle: Creative Playmaker
As a football enthusiast, Dybala’s flair and iconic status certainly pique my interest. However, personally, his card doesn’t quite resonate with me. Yet, I have to admit that his smoother dribbling makes him an appealing option as a super sub. His silky skills on the ball and enchanting left foot can work magic within the penalty box.

His performance in finishing, equipped with the essential abilities for his position, is satisfactory. His passing skills are notable too, allowing him to seamlessly transition into a creative role when required. However, his stamina could use some improvement, which might necessitate substituting him during games, yet he still possesses a strong burst of energy.
Bremer
- Position: CB
- Playstyle: Build Up
As a gamer, I’d say this character is pretty similar to Eder, but with a slight twist – let’s call it a toned-down version. He’s all about the power, able to shruggoff opponents like they’re nothing and acing challenges with ease. His tackling skills are solid as a rock, and he’s got all the necessary skills for a Central Back role. To top it off, he even boasts a One Touch Pass that quickly eases the pressure in tight situations.

Despite not setting any records, he performs admirably in the Italian League themed games. Aerodynamically speaking, he handles himself well, utilizing his build and timing to neutralize threats, even though the stats aren’t particularly striking. Once more, this is another solid choice.
Ferdi Kadıoğlu
- Position: LB
- Playstyle: Offensive Wingback
This player is quite versatile and can comfortably fit into various positions along the wings. His speed is reasonable, complemented by a solid sprint speed that’s handy for both advancing forward and covering ground when needed. His passing ability for crosses is satisfactory, as one would expect from a player operating in wide areas.

By examining this card, it’s apparent that playing him as a Left Back would be inefficient since he doesn’t have any defensive abilities, and for the wings, his finishing skills are not exceptional. The optimal position for him appears to be as a Wide Midfielder because he excels at crossing, dribbling, and has a decent speed that will maximize his potential.
Marc Bernal
- Position: DMF
- Playstyle: Anchor Man
As a Barcelona supporter, my preference might be evident, but I offer an objective opinion on this young player as well. He possesses a striking height of 191cm and exhibits the characteristics typical of a defensive midfielder. What particularly catches the eye are his defensive statistics, which for a 17-year old are impressively strong.

Additionally, he exhibits impressive passing statistics in auto build, showcasing strong passing abilities. However, some drawbacks are quite noticeable. He lacks any defensive skills whatsoever, and it might be questionable whether you’d want to invest your tokens into this card given his significant weakness in this area, making him less suitable for starting play without proper compensation.
Verdict on ‘Back in the Game’ August 2025 NC players in eFootball 2026
Here’s my ranking for the new NC pack.
| Tier | Players |
|---|---|
| SSS (Overpowered) | None |
| S (Strong) | Rodri |
| A (Good) | Éder Militão, Paulo Dybala, Bremer, Ferdi Kadıoğlu |
| B (Average) | Marc Bernal |
| C (Below Average) | None |
The NC package serves as a decent foundation for the upcoming season, though it lacks the compelling urgency to be considered a “can’t-miss” option. Among the standouts are Rodri and Militao, both providing solid defensive prowess with accurate player representations. However, Rodri clearly outshines Militao in terms of performance.
Dybala excels in ball control and weaving through opponents, but his endurance often restricts him to coming off the bench. Bremer and Ferdi are reliable options, though they don’t stand out. Bernal, despite showing potential, doesn’t yet possess the necessary skills to compete effectively at this level.
