As a passionate player of eFootball 2026, I’m thrilled to be a month into the new season and KONAMI is keeping the excitement high by continually introducing fresh packs. Following an exhilarating start in August, September brings another highly anticipated Nominating Contract – Anticipated Standouts 25-26. I can hardly wait!
In this updated compilation, we zero in on footballers predicted to excel during the 2025-26 season. I’ve provided an analysis of the players featured, accompanied by my assessments and top selections, all arranged in order of their potential impact.
eFootball 2026 ‘Anticipated Standouts 25-26’ September 2025 NC players listed
Viktor Gyökeres
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
This player, named Gyökeres, is structured like a conventional forward who shines in aggressive play styles. With this card, you obtain a straightforward, hardworking striker who can convert marginal opportunities into goals. He delightfully dashes past defensive lines, and once he reaches there, his accuracy rarely falters.

His player ID is one of his major assets. He consistently runs with purpose, displaying a dominant presence that opponents find tough to ignore. Even in rough-and-tumble matches, he manages to hold his ground and continue posing a threat to the opponent’s goal. His dribbling skills are commendable, making him an overall reliable choice for any team. In essence, he’s a top-notch pick.
Hugo Ekitike
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Deep-Lying Forward
A card comparable to Gyokores, but with enhanced passing abilities and a reduced emphasis on the physical aspect of the game. Unlike many forwards, Ekitike plays in an unconventional manner due to his unique style of play. He often moves away from the opposition’s goal, connecting with midfielders, and then makes a timely advance.

The player appears to have a clumsy style while dribbling, moving quite slowly and it significantly impacts his speed when carrying the ball. Despite appearing as an enhancement compared to his other cards, he may not be the revolutionary free-to-play card one might expect.
Willian Pacho
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Destroyer
A great alternative for a free-to-play defender, if you adjust the build, I believe this card could reach its optimal form. A defense rating of 90 or higher, speed and acceleration above 80, and heading similarly high would create a robust build for this card.

Although I haven’t had the chance to play with him yet, based on his physical attributes and overall performance, I strongly believe he could make an excellent backup choice. He seems quite similar to the Mosquera card from the Spanish League roster.
Bryan Mbeumo
- Position: RWF
- Playing Style: Prolific Winger

Mbeumo exhibits strong qualities as a wing player. His dribbling skills are evident in those statistics, and he boasts good speed and acceleration that support his play. He could be an effective option for making through balls. However, it appears that he may not be a reliable finisher or crosser, so you might need to fine-tune your team’s strategy accordingly.
Giuliano Simeone
- Position: RMF
- Playing Style: Roaming Flank

Simeone appears as a diligent, versatile winger with great endurance. His adaptable playing style allows him to move between various wing positions. Yet, he doesn’t have any exceptional skills that truly shine, so although he’s valuable, he might not be notably outstanding. Unfortunately, his weaker foot isn’t particularly noteworthy either.
Rodrigo Mora
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker

Mora presents you with a timeless, creative midfield choice. His excellent ball control and passing skills make him perfectly suited for constructing plays smoothly. He’s agile in moving the ball swiftly, but he isn’t a significant goal scorer or someone who brings a lot of physical power to the game. If I were to compare him, I’d say he’s akin to a smaller version of Isco.
Wilfried Gnonto
- Position: LWF
- Playing Style: Roaming Flank

As a passionate fan, I’d say Gnonto’s card is all about speed and intricate dribbling. His explosive momentum makes him a menacing presence whenever he’s in possession of the ball, providing a potent attacking option along the sidelines. However, while his pace and skills are undeniably impressive, there might be other, superior options available to you. Nonetheless, if you decide to go with his 4-Star NC, you won’t regret it!
Gonzalo García
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Fox In The Box

A well-structured profile, but statistics aren’t particularly standout. Regardless of tweaking the settings to boost these figures, they seldom exceed the 80s. The performance lacks impact across the board, leaving uncertainty about his potential to excel beyond his recorded statistics.
Verdict on ‘Anticipated Standouts 25-26’ September 2025 NC players in eFootball 2026
Here’s my ranking for the new NC pack.
| Tier | Players |
|---|---|
| SSS (Endgame) | None |
| SS (Excellent) | None |
| S (Strong) | Viktor Gyökeres |
| A (Good) | Hugo Ekitike, Willian Pacho |
| B (Average) | Bryan Mbeumo, Rodrigo Mora, Giuliano Simeone, Wilfried Gnonto |
| C (Below Average) | Gonzalo García |
All in all, this pack is alright but not essential unless you’re particularly looking for enhanced attack or midfield options for a new player. Among the players, Gyökeres and Ekitike stood out to me. I’d say Gyökeres is a solid choice, performs well, and even though I have higher-rated alternatives, Gyökeres remains an excellent substitute option.
