eFootball 2026: A guide to understanding and performing Player Fusion

eFootball 2026 is a top-rated football game available on mobile devices. The recent Season 4 update for eFootball 2023 introduced exciting features, including Legacy Transfer, which has continued to be a key part of the game in eFootball 2025 and now 2026.

Player Fusion is a straightforward system that lets you transfer player experiences. Since it launched, many players have asked about how it works and how to find training shortcuts. This guide explains Player Fusion – formerly known as the 4.5.0 update – and shows you how to use it in eFootball 2026.

Understanding the Player Fusion feature in eFootball 2026

Introduction

Player Fusion lets you share progress between players. You can transfer Experience Points and extra Skills from one player to another, even if you haven’t trained them. To do this, you’ll choose a player to take points from and another player to receive them.

While this feature existed in past PES games, it works differently now. Before, you’d turn players into trainers and *then* use them for training. Now, it’s a direct transfer of skills from one player to another.

This process needs game points and will be different for each player based on their current level. The player account used for the transfer will be deleted after the transfer is complete. Any leftover points won’t carry over once the new player’s experience points are at their maximum.

How to perform Player Fusion

You can perform a Player Fusion by following the steps below.

  • Go to the My Team to access your players.
  • Pick a player of your choice and click on Player Fusion. Remember, this player will be the one who is going to inherit the points.
  • Trainer candidates will now show up where players can pick one of their choice. This player will be the one who is going to give his experience points to the first pick.
  • After selecting, you go to the overview page of the player. You can see his stats and other details.
  • Click Confirm to move to the next page.
  • A final overview of the transfer will be displayed. The new level of the inheriting player will be displayed along with the additional skills that are going to be added.
  • Click Transfer to finalise the Player Fusion procedure.

Calculations

Many players are having trouble understanding how calculations work. A common question is why a Level 1 player doesn’t gain all 31 levels when transferring from another player. The reason is that the transfer is based on experience points earned, not the player’s current level.

Imagine two players, A and B. Player A is at level 1, and Player B is much further ahead at level 10. If A trains with B, you’d expect A to reach level 10 as well. However, if A only reaches level 8, it’s because A and B have different requirements – different limits and amounts of experience needed – to reach level 10.

One player might reach level 10 with 10,000 experience points, while another could do it with only 7,500. We’ll use the lower amount, 7,500 points, as the benchmark when training the first player.

Points to Remember

Here are some important points to remember while performing a Player Fusion.

  • Once a Player Fusion is performed, the player used will be removed from your Team Menu.
  • If the experience points of the inheriting player are maxed out, then the remaining points of the player used for the transfer will not carry over.
  • Additional skills are only those which are given by Skill Tokens. So, the other skills won’t get added.
  • Position ineligibility is something that the players have to take note of. This means that if your selected player for Player Fusion is not eligible, you cannot perform the transfer.
