eFootball 2026 is a top-tier mobile football game, mainly because of its realistic and detailed gameplay. It accurately reflects real-world football, allowing diverse players and strategies to thrive and evolve naturally.
Features such as Player Live Update Ratings, Form, and Condition are popular topics due to the dynamic elements they add to the game. This article will clearly explain how these features work in eFootball 2026.
Live Update Ratings in eFootball 2026
Overview
Live Update Ratings show how well players are performing in real life, and also affect their condition within the game. These ratings are based on data from actual matches, giving each player a score from one to five. A higher rating means a player is more likely to be in good shape during gameplay.
Live Update Rating System
Players are ranked using a letter system – A, B, C, D, and E – based on their real-life performance, called the Live Update Rating. An ‘A’ rating means a player is performing exceptionally well, while an ‘E’ rating indicates poor performance. You can see these ratings when filtering players in the My Team section or while viewing the Game Plan.

A player’s form rating changes often during the season based on how well they play in real matches, and this impacts their abilities in the game. A higher form rating means a player can stay in top condition for longer. However, special cards like Legends, Iconic Moments, Epics, and Big Time cards are different – their form is always fixed at a ‘B’.
Player Form in eFootball 2026
Overview
The game evaluates a player’s current ability by checking their form – something KONAMI has always done in both eFootball and older PES games. This form assessment takes into account things like their fitness, how well they’re playing in league and European matches, and whether they have any injuries or are currently suspended.
Form rating system
The form rating system used to use numbers, from 1 to 8. A higher number, like 8, meant an arrow was in good condition, while a lower number, like 1, meant it was in poor condition.
After transitioning to eFootball, the player form system became much easier to understand. It now focuses on three main types of performance: Inconsistent, Standard, and Unwavering. These categories determine how a player is performing at any given time.
- Inconsistent: Players with varying real-life form fall under this category. In eFootball, their conditioning tends to fluctuate and is more likely to show orange or red arrows, even when Live Update ratings are set to C.
- Standard: These players generally maintain stable performances. The yellow condition arrow is most common here, offering a balanced and reliable level of performance.
- Unwavering: The most desirable form type. These players are highly consistent and have a much higher chance of receiving green condition arrows.
All these will directly affect how the conditioning of a player will be assigned before a game.
Player Condition in eFootball 2026
Overview
As a fan, I’ve learned that a player’s condition at the start of a match is basically their rating going in. You can always check this in the match menu before or even during the game. What’s really cool is how arrows show you if a player’s stats are getting a boost – they’ll point up if stats are increasing or down if they’re decreasing, giving you a quick look at how their overall performance might change!
Condition rating system
A player’s condition is rated on a scale of five levels. The best possible condition is shown by a turquoise arrow, giving the player a performance boost. A yellow arrow means the player’s stats are unchanged, while a red arrow indicates they are in the worst possible condition.

A player’s condition significantly impacts how well they perform. Being in top condition allows a player to exceed their usual stats, while poor condition hinders their ability to play at their best. Therefore, always check your condition on the match screen before starting the next game.
Understanding Live Updates, Form, and Conditions for a player
Here is an example of how the Live updates are carried out.

The eFootballHub app tracks Lionel Messi’s performance in eFootball, and his data shows he consistently plays well. He had one unusually poor game that temporarily lowered his rating, but overall, his stats demonstrate reliable performance, meaning he’s usually in good condition during matches.

This is another good illustration of how player stats change when they’re in good form versus when they’re not. You’ll notice these differences much more easily on the PC version of eFootball, because the mobile version doesn’t show such detailed stat information.
This example uses Cristiano Ronaldo’s card from the eFootball 2023 game to illustrate his core stats, as well as how those stats are increased (shown with a turquoise arrow) or decreased (shown with a red arrow). Although players on mobile devices won’t see this specific screen, these stat changes still happen during gameplay and affect how well the player performs.
Final Thoughts
Generally, players who are in good form tend to play better, and those in poor form may not perform as well. However, form isn’t the only thing that affects how a player does – things like their skills, the team’s strategy, and the strength of the opposing team also play a significant role.
Okay, so when I’m building my team, fitness is HUGE. I always make sure my starting eleven are in top shape. Basically, the higher a player’s Live Update Rating, the better they’ll hold up during a match. And if I’ve got a real game-changer, someone who can really turn things around, I always keep them on the bench – you never know when you’ll need that extra boost!
