As an avid fan, I’m thrilled to share my thoughts on KONAMI’s upcoming release, eFootball 2025. The latest addition to the game is the Standout Lefties Show Time Pack, a must-have for those who admire the skill and finesse of left-footed players. This pack showcases some of the best current talent, including the likes of Thibaut Courtois, Cole Palmer, and Savinho. While everyone’s buzzing about getting Courtois given his potential to be the top goalkeeper in the game, I wanted to give you a firsthand account of my experience with all three players in this Standout Lefties Show Time Pack review for eFootball 2025. Show Time cards from the Standout Lefties pack in eFootball 2025

This set comprises approximately 150 figures, accompanied by three “Show Time” cards. Two of these cards feature unique “Show Time abilities”, whereas one simply boasts a “Show Time motif”. Notably, the goalkeeper in this collection does not possess a Show Time skill, yet it doesn’t diminish his worth.

Thibaut Courtois

  • Position: Goalkeeper (GK)
  • Playing Style: Defensive Goalkeeper

Thibaut Courtois is a goalkeeper designed for those seeking top-tier shot-blocking prowess. His exceptional skills in goalkeeping, parrying, and GK reach make him an elite choice, particularly when handling long-range shots. Unlike other goalkeepers who may struggle with deflections causing rebounds, Courtois skillfully directs the ball towards safer zones.

He possesses both strong long passes and accurate low kicks, which are beneficial for swift counterattacks, especially when paired with taller forwards. Yet, Courtois has a couple of weaknesses. His reflexes are somewhat slower than those of other elite goalkeepers such as Schmeichel, potentially causing him to respond more slowly in one-on-one scenarios.

Another well-constructed setup could rectify that issue. I’ve had the chance to play with numerous goalkeepers such as Casillas, Buffon, Cech, and also a player similar in height like Schmeichel. In terms of reaching for saves and shot stopping, I strongly believe he is among the best in the game.

Cole Palmer

  • Position: Attacking Midfielder (AMF)
  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass

If you’re searching for a highly creative player who excels in every aspect of creativity, Cole Palmer certainly fits the bill. He boasts impressive abilities in areas such as Ball Control, Dribbling, and Passing, making him one of the most technically skilled midfielders in this game. I’ve been impressed with his past cards, including the Daily Game card, and I must say, this card outperforms his previous ones effortlessly.

His finishing abilities and long-range shooting skills make him more than just a playmaker; he can also score when presented with an opportunity. The main issue with Palmer is his lack of physical prowess in the current environment. A boost in physical contact could enhance him, but it’s crucial to tone down other aspects.

Another shortcoming would be his playing approach, a “Hole Player” strategy could have been more effective. However, to maximize his potential, he requires ample room to maneuver, either as a central attacking midfielder or on the right flank, allowing him to move inside and create opportunities. When utilized appropriately, he can become one of the game’s most graceful ball handlers, but he doesn’t favor bulldozing through defenses.

Savinho

  • Position: Left Wing Forward (LWF)
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling

If you’re a fan of swift, skillful wingers, Savinho could be just the player for you. His lightning-fast speed and nimble dribbling make him one of the quickest players on the field. He infuses his game with Brazilian style, outmaneuvering defenders with his pace or eluding opponents through clever dribbles. In one-on-one situations, he truly shines. His close control is impressive, and his improved balance adds a noticeable edge to his performance.

In the analysis, it’s pointed out that Savinho’s weak point lies in the quality of his final output. His shooting skills (Finishing) are merely average, making him less effective when aiming for goals compared to other wingers. Additionally, his mid-80s Kicking Power doesn’t aid much in taking powerful shots. Although his passing is decent, he isn’t a specialist playmaker (pure playmaker), so enhancing his One Touch Pass skill could boost the chances of successful passes while also increasing his overall passing statistics.

Best pick from Standout Lefties pack in eFootball 2025

Among the three, I’d say Courtois stands out as an exceptional goalkeeper, belonging to the elite S-tier. He’s one of the top three in his position, consistently delivering amazing saves that are worth remembering. While the other two have impressive Show Time skills, Courtois is undoubtedly a player you should strongly consider adding to your team.
