eFootball 2025 Squad Pillars 24-25 Season’s Best pack review

In this new edition of eFootball 2025, they’ve unveiled another prestigious pack. This time, it’s focusing on the essential foundation of top-tier teams, dubbed as the “Squad Pillars” for the 24–25 Season. Heading the lineup is prominent figure Virgil van Dijk, accompanied by dynamic performances from Frenkie de Jong and Jude Bellingham under the “Show Time” label.

It’s indisputable that these three individuals are elite players, consistently performing at a high level throughout Europe. Among them, we find an exceptional central defender, complemented by two outstanding midfielders who provide exceptional worth for your investment. Here, we delve into the details of their abilities in this analysis.

Show Time cards from the Squad Pillars 24-25 Season’s Best pack in eFootball 2025

In this set, you’ll find a pack of 150 players, and each of the three featured ones receive a “Show Time” skill. Among them, Virgil van Dijk is classified as a high-profile player, referred to as the “Big Time” card, while the other two are simply labeled as “Show Time.

Virgil Van Dijk

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Build Up
  • Showtime Skill: Long-Reach Tackle

Van Dijk’s Big Time version is just as you’d imagine, a towering presence at the back. He’s dominant in-game, and his mere presence often makes attackers hesitate to make a move. His outstanding physicality, exceptional tackling skills, and mastery of the air give him an edge over even the most powerful forwards, consistently thwarting their attacks.

As a passionate admirer, I must say, the defensive statistics are truly astounding! Even without his auto-built enhancements, pushing these figures into the hundreds, they remain jaw-droppingly impressive when scaled back to the mid-90s. Simply remarkable!

He acquires all necessary defensive abilities, leaving no additional concerns for you. He stands tall, ensuring impressive Heading statistics, as they are already factored in during his development. Long-distance tackling is a valuable asset, undoubtedly enhancing his long strides, making it easier for him to secure the ball.

He’s the type of center back who calms you when your opponent retaliates, as you’re confident he’ll either deflect or neutralize the attack. If you’re concerned about speed in recovery, partner him with someone swift. However, my setup has him at an impressive 90-speed, which is among the top speeds for a center back.

Jude Bellingham

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass

This card appears incredibly strong and hard to counter, making it an impressive choice for players seeking a top-tier AMF/SS. The question remains whether the player truly deserves such a powerful card, but its potential certainly seems fantastic.

You’ll be delighted by how effortlessly he moves on the ball for someone with a larger frame. He lacks any awkwardness, and when he picks up speed, he truly shines on the ball. He consistently delivers impressive passing statistics, ensuring a comfortable fit regardless of your preferred build.

His vehicle’s characteristics veer towards a hybrid style, offering impressive scoring, skillful ball control, and accurate passing in the 90s, making it an effective choice for an AMF role. However, I prefer to capitalize on his scoring statistics from the 90s, reduce his emphasis on passing, and deploy him as an SS instead. While some may find a lack of ‘curl’ as a drawback, I believe he possesses skills beyond that, making him more than just a creator.

Frenkie De Jong

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass

Frenkie’s Show Time card may not appear flashy at first glance, but upon use, it proves to be one of the most seamlessly effective Orchestrator cards you can play with. He exhibits a smooth, composed demeanor, and his touch, control, and passing all seem effortless.

His car’s construction is ideal for a DMF proficient in ground play, however, it’s not advisable to use him there. Instead, I recommend emphasizing his skills in passing and dribbling. Remarkably, due to his player ID, his ball control feels top-notch, and the way he maneuvers with the ball gives a sensation of effortless gliding.

Although he leans more towards a CMF than a DMF, he poses a valid threat as an AMF as well. However, I would rather keep other players over him. You can increase his physical contact to the mid-to-high 70s, set his dribbling and passing skills in the 90s, and enhance his pace; you’d then have a strong card at your disposal.

Best pick from the Squad Pillars 24-25 Season’s Best pack in eFootball 2025

If you possess coins, give it a whirl. Having three exceptional cards in their prime spots, notably a top-notch evergreen card like Virgil van Dijk in his B form, is someone you certainly don’t want to overlook. The other two cards boast impressive statistics and are currently among the most reliable performers globally, so definitely give it a try!
