In the world of eFootball 2025, a fresh new ability called “Show Time Skill” has been unveiled, along with some fresh player selections. As predicted, these leaks have proven accurate, and one ST skill is currently active, while we anticipate the arrival of the second one. The “Long-reach Tackle” pack in eFootball 2025 includes players such as William Saliba, Federico Valverde, and Jules Kounde.
For each player, they offer a distinct defensive flair coupled with the “Show Time” ability. Let’s delve into their statistics to determine which one emerges victorious and addresses the query of whether they’re worthy investments for your currency.
Show Time cards from the eFootball 2025 Long-reach Tackle pack
All three Show Time cards get the same skill.
William Saliba
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
- Showtime Skill: Long-reach Tackle
Saliba’s playing card is designed for those who prefer a defensive approach. He employs the traditional “Build Up” style, but don’t be deceived; he can be assertive when necessary. Yet, there’s an uncanny sense of poise and control in his gameplay that always makes it seem like he’s perfectly positioned.

As a gamer, I’ve got some scary-good tackle numbers and I’m like a stone wall when it comes to understanding the game. I may not be the quickest to adapt, but my acceleration and speed are off the charts for a CB of my height. Physically, I’ve got that top-tier strength that perfectly complements my clean tackles.
To his impressive stature and towering figure, add it up, and you’ve created a formidable wall at the back. Although his aerial skills might not be top-notch, I don’t foresee any issues in winning headers given his decent jumping ability.
Federico Valverde
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Destroyer
- Showtime Skill: Long-reach Tackle
Among top-tier versatile cards, Valverde stands out comparably to Matthaus. Unlike many cards that merely fill a specific position, Valverde is a robust utility player. His playstyle and ST skill enable him to excel in various defensive roles, demonstrating his versatility.
Regarding his abilities as a Central Midfielder, based on my personal observations when we played together, it seems like his ball control and passing skills exceed what is indicated by the statistics. What stood out to me was how seamlessly he transitioned from gaining possession of the ball to initiating an offensive move.

Displaying relentless energy and a style reminiscent of continuous pursuit, Valverde traverses remarkable distances. His defensive metrics are robust, making him equally capable of thwarting a counterattack as initiating one. I found his profile ideal for the role of Right Back to capitalize on his defensive acumen for that playstyle. In the Center Back position, he proves effective and playable with an optimal build and positional advantage.
Jules Kounde
- Position: RB
- Playing Style: Offensive Fullback
- Showtime Skill: Long-reach Tackle
Among my favorites in reality, Kounde received a respectable rating in this game, although it wasn’t overwhelmingly positive. He possesses an impressive blend of speed, strength, and strong offensive stats, yet he consistently demonstrates defensive prowess that allows him to adapt to various roles effectively.

As a gamer, I can say that when you train him as a Center Back, he quickly develops stats around the 105-106 range. In truth, he’d excel marvelously in the role of a ball-playing CB, a position he initially held at the start of his career. His stamina is nothing short of phenomenal; regardless of the card, you won’t often see him tire out even after 90 minutes of play.
He possesses a strong ability to cross the ball effectively, and his passing skills are well-suited for his playing position. On the defensive end, he’s quick-witted, maintains sharp focus, and responds swiftly in one-on-one situations. His tackling and positioning are dependable, and his aerial prowess is impressive considering his stature. In terms of role, he would excel as a Defensive Fullback.
Best pick from the Show Time Long-reach Tackle pack in eFootball 2025
The downside to using ‘Show Time’ cards is that they don’t have a permanent ‘B’ form, unlike ‘Epic’ and ‘Big Time’. However, this could also be seen as an advantage because you might receive the ‘A’ form instead. Regarding these three options, I must admit I haven’t quite figured out the benefits of the new ‘ST’ skill yet, but rest assured, you can’t make a poor choice among any of them.
Among the three, Saliba stands out as one of the most reliable players due to his consistent performance. Given his height and impressive defensive statistics, he’s an excellent choice if you’re in need of a center back. The other two players are also solid options, making them good alternatives.
