eFootball 2025 Show Time Aerial Fort Selection Guide and Review

In the realm of KONAMI’s eFootball 2025, there’s been a flurry of new loot distributions for us gamers. Over the last few months, some top-tier packs have graced our screens. One such recent arrival is the Show Time Aerial Fort pack, which has garnered quite a bit of interest due to its new Show Time skill, often dubbed as “Pay-to-Win” by free-to-play players. By the time this review hits, many might have already secured the pack. However, if you’re still on the fence about it, let me share my impressions on the Show Time Aerial Fort pack in eFootball 2025.

eFootball 2025 Show Time Aerial Fort Players

In this set, we have a fresh 150-player pack along with an exciting addition: Show Time skill and a new booster! The Aerial Fort skill enhances a player’s skills in airborne confrontations, particularly when they are inside their own penalty box. As for the boosters, they now feature the innovative Aerial Block ability.

Ruben Dias

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: The Destroyer

Here’s what I came up with:

I drew this card using whatever change I had remaining, yet it wasn’t supposed to be the most powerful one in the deck. In fact, it wasn’t even the type of card I was aiming for. Frankly speaking, I felt let down when I picked it, as it didn’t fit my strategy. However, upon playing it, I realized that first impressions can be deceiving.

On the field, his outstanding defensive instincts and tackling are reinforced by his knack for positioning himself strategically. This playing style proves beneficial, as it blocks passing routes and hinders attackers before they can execute their plans. Given his aggressive nature, you might want to label him with a Defensive role if you prefer him to play in that specific manner.

The exceptional passing skills and boosted speed of this player sets him apart from other Central Back (CB) options. Previously, I had shied away from using some top-tier Dias cards due to their slower pace, but in this case, both aspects have received significant improvements, aligning with the current game meta. He may not be able to outrun faster forwards, but he has ample time to respond effectively.

Virgil Van Dijk

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Build Up

The imposing presence of Virgil van Dijk on the field is amplified by his Aerial Fort skill, making him even more formidable in aerial challenges. Standing at an impressive 6 feet 4 inches, he’s already proficient in aerial battles, and this skill enhances his knack for winning crucial headers. His keen defensive instincts along with this ability make him a powerful presence during set pieces, both when defending against attacks and clearing high balls away from danger.

With this fresh skill, van Dijk now provides an even stronger defensive solution when dealing with crosses, particularly excelling in the areas of Bullet Header and Edged Crossing. As a result, his team’s defense remains robust in aerial situations. Moreover, it appears that this new ability enhances his innate skills, enabling him to hold his ground during aerial duels and establish dominance in the defensive zone.

Jonathan Tah

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Build Up

Among the three individuals, I believe this person could excel the most. When equipped with an auto-build, he stands out as the most formidable in the air. Additionally, his standard version is already impressive physically, but these enhancements to his physical contact and defensive statistics make him seem quite intimidating. To top it off, standing at 195 cm tall, he’s the tallest among them, which suggests he could also be the best performer in aerial situations too.

Despite being known for his aerial prowess, Tah is equally strong as a ground defender. His style of play during build-up phases enables him to effectively intercept passes, disrupt attacks through clever positioning, and his robust physique prevents attackers from advancing or holding onto the ball. Consider using progression points to help boost his skills up into the 90s level.

Best picks from the Show Time Aerial Fort

If you’re looking for elite defenders, Ruben Dias, Virgil van Dijk, and Jonathan Tah are must-have picks that shouldn’t be overlooked. They command the defense with an impressive blend of strength, aerial skills, and defensive abilities that stand out. Acquiring any one of these players will certainly elevate your team’s performance.
